Is skarmory a Soulsilver exclusive? It's one of my favourite Pokemon but I never seem to have had one. :/ Parents got me Heartgold sadly.

I'm just neutral on them. Wouldn't spend much time searching for them though. All I ever caught was a shiny Onyx on Heartgold.

I have trouble finding Pokemon with the right nature yet alone shinies.

Currently hunting a Timid Rotom and an Adamant Metang/Metagross, both of which are genderless so breeding isn't an option.

The problem I often have is that I want to always have a water, fire, electric, bird, grass and rock type because their basically the primary ones that are good for battling but often it seems like the coolest Pokemon come from ghost, dark, ice, steel etc.

I usually pick the Pokemon I find coolest while still attempting to be balanced out in terms of typing (or movesets at the least). Which sadly for me ends up lacking any pokemon to take on water types as i'm not fond of grass and electric types in general. I also like going for Pokemon with some kick ass type combos.

Meh, I don't really think there's much in terms of criteria to what I catch, unless if it's to beat someone who's got a major typing advantage.

Yeah those are pretty cool Dart but trading is a rare occasion for me so while Charizard is actually a favourite of mine I never owned one. Do have a Pidgeot which is too cool though. :3

ooh that would be nice. Can't get my hands on HeartGold right now but I believe you can trade with newer games, right?

Haha when I get Y I'm probably gonna catch one. The evolution is pretty neat.

I try to but it's kinda tough. I did make it through HeartGold with a pretty sucky team but it required a lot patience and in the end I couldn't use all of my team to beat the Elite Four.

Hm, if it's BW/BW2, which are Gen V games, the only to way to trade would be via the Poke Transfer, and you'd need Haruka's game card for that.

Sadly I do not own X/Y, nor White 1/Black 1 (at least White 1 for now, this one I'll only get it close to Christmas) so I think I can't help like this.

Yes. It's evolution is unique, as it has a different moveset and some major differences in its appearance depending on it's gender.

I was just pondering this. Tis great seeing as a good chunk of the after game is in Lumiose City.

Looker's story was touching which I found surprising as I didn't have a big opinion on him beforehand. I mentioned on Tumblr that i'd love a game like that after-story only as a full game.

Hm, really? I liked his theme, and he wasn't too bad a character, I'll look it up then.
