I'm more intrigued by the Sonic Boom cartoon currently, 52 eleven minute episodes, just like shows like Adventure Time, and it's on Cartoon Network as well.
And then there's the bullet point about "CG animated film," wonder if it's a tie-in to the show? Or something greater? Either ways, it seems things are going to be quite interesting, even with the lack of a main Sonic title.
One of the reasons Generations was hacked as much as it was, is that the code for the game and all of it's files in the Steam directory are very cleanly organised. Sonic Adventure 2 is an opposite scenario, which is why even a decade later, it still hasn't got many major hacks, let alone a level creation scene. The only one I can think of is a mod for SA2 PC on Steam, that allows online play in the game's versus mode, though it's kinda ham-fisted to use (the name of the mod is "Sonic Adventure 2 Battle Network" if you want to look it up and find out more about it). So how much a game is modded is all down to how passionate and skilled the people responsible are, and how clean the code is.
TV Shows can technically fall under "film". The Sonic Boom half of the poster was still just talking about the show.
I know there was a rumour I posted about a Sonic movie apparently being made by the people who make "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs", and that it was slated for 2015, and a second movie in 2017, but this does not seem connected at all, as Sonic Boom is not being made by those people. Heck, we still have had no new developments on the movie rumour.

That being said, I think the Sonic news drought will end soon. We always have a period like this after the release of a major title. The game listed in that poster is likely not the next Sonic game we are getting either. We still have that 3rd Nintendo exclusive, and we always get one new, big budget Sonic game each year, even if it's a spin-off and not a main series platformer (like how we got Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed in 2012, which was touted as the AAA Sonic game of that year since it's announcement). Since '06, there has been a two year gap between each main series platformer with the exception of Colours (2008 had Unleashed, 2010 had Colours, 2011 had Generations, 2013 had Lost World). Colours was only made because it started out as a Wii port of Generations, but the team decided that the entire point of Generations didn't shine through on Wii (seeing old Sonic stages in HD). They had enough assets made to continue making a new game, though (notice the Classic Badniks in Colours, for example). And the engine Colours uses is (contrary to popular belief) actually the same engine the Storybook games used. So that game was assigned to the dev team of the Storybook games (who had previously been giving us something between the main series games, with Secret Rings in 2007, and Black Knight in 2009).
<speculation>
Unless Nintendo and Sega fell out over Lost World sales (though I doubt this will be the case, as Sonic is in Smash Bros, and they are still making Nintendo themed DLC for Lost World), I believe we will get our third Nintendo exclusive Sonic game at the end of this year, and then the multiplat title we are reading about in that poster will be released at the end of 2015.
I don't know whether or not it was the Unleashed dev team (Unleashed HD, Generations HD), or the Storybook dev team (Secret Rings, Black Knight, Colours) who made Lost World Wii U (Dimps made the 3DS version). Lots of people are guessing the Storybook team, as Lost World really does feel like Sonic Colours 2. I think it's entirely possible, as it would be the first HD game made by that team, meaning development would likely take longer than what they are used to, which would explain why they took longer with it than their past games. Though there is no confirmation of which team actually made it.
My guess is that the 3rd Nintendo exclusive Sonic game is going to be a collaborative effort between Nintendo and one of the aforementioned dev teams for Sonic games. I will guess it will be the Storybook dev team, because I think the Unleashed dev team would be better for working with new hardware like the PS4 and Xbox One.
As for what I think the 3rd Nintendo exclusive Sonic game will be, I think it will be one of the following, from what I think is least desirable and most likely, to what is most desirable and least likely, personally speaking. This is keeping in mind that it's already been confirmed that Sonic in Smash 4 has nothing to do with the three Sonic game partnership with Nintendo:
-A game to tie in with the release of the new show. The demographic for the show is young boys, so it would make sense for a game meant for that demographic to be Nintendo only.
-A new "Sonic & All Stars" game by Sumo Digital. They are currently working on something, we know that much. If it's not LittleBigPlanet, it's something like this.
-A new entry into the Storybook series.
-A new Mario & Sonic game, except this time, they aren't at the Olympics. It'd be some kind of platformer-adventure game, or an RPG.

Also, it's the 20th anniversary of Sonic 3 today!
