It's just obvious that Photoshop is not meant to be bought by private individuals, and that's why piracy is part of their business.

In Norway, students in high school and university get a discount of 80% on Adobe and Microsoft Office products, and that actually makes Photoshop quite affordable for us (I still pirated it, though ).

Here, in the university my sister studies in, they give their students 3D Studio Max and the like for free (or very cheap) I think, but then again, those are pirated too lol, so there's not much point in that cos their versions are outdated anyways.

Well, she does have an official email with her uni's domain name, so she can get those student versions of Maya (that add a watermark to the renders) for free officially.

She doesn't bother anymore now that I've taught her how to use torrents though

You shouldn't. Anyway, go to a alley called bittorrent, ask for photoshop, and then press download.

Because you can pirate LogoMotion. It's way simplier, like extended Paint, but with lots of new features.
