Absolutely no, moderators should not argue with users. They should be more like... peacemakers. Of course, that doesn't mean that moderators cannot have their own opinions about something, or fool around with other users, but... there are limits (known also as forum regulations, for example, or rules, however you call it), Palmitodamnit.

Well I don't see arguments as a problem, as PC, as long as I've been here, has never gotten into any serious flame wars where people are getting banned. There's a heated discussion/debate every now and then, but I don't see any problem with the current situation.

I actually think it would be amusing if both Spiral and I got the job. It might make a good (not really) sitcom if you know what I mean.

It reminds me that it has been taking a while since the deadline.

I'm currently reinstalling Mac OS X on my broken computer. It's just me and my iPod now. Anyone know anything about the new Macs? I can't stand the idea of converting to Windows.

I'm not a Mac expert, but OSX Lion has a few new features plus more optimizations. If you want a real spec sheet look it up on Apple.com, or Google it. Just the sound of not being able to stand Windows makes me go:

If so, then that is a truly intensive process, especially since the "search user's posts" option doesn't show quotes and only partial posts so it's hard to tell who's saying what. Because honestly, I use quotes very often, either at the beginning, middle or end of my posts, and the search option just merges the actual user's text with the quote, making the person's typing both confusing and unimpressive.

iambored, while it is acceptable to be offended by some things, this is not one of those things. You need to take humor a little more as humor itself. There's nothing remotely offensive with Spiral's post. Can't someone laugh at themselves a little when a harmless observatory joke is made to them? I do it all the time.

You forget that members of the staff have access to tools normal members don't have, which makes the process much, much easier.
