It's alright, the thread is making progress through its casual pages of conversation. Besides, you're explaining why you may not be able to contribute, which by all means is totally fine. If you do want to go into greater detail still, I may recommend this topic for doing so.

Re: RPC Tenth Anniversary Art Contest
I understand the feeling, especially if they're someone you've known all your life. My cat who passed away in 2011 had been around as long as I had; there was no sign of illness, I just returned home one day and she wasn't breathing. While the next few days were painful, I fortunately didn't have to go through the struggle of making the decision to actually put her down, as I can only imagine how frightening and unpleasant that must be.

I don't mean to dump so much at once but I feel like I need to talk about it, as part of my grieving process.
I apologize for veering this thread off-topic. I just needed to get all that out.

Re: RPC Tenth Anniversary Art Contest
I'm sorry to hear that, Earth Gwee, you have my condolences.
Re: RPC Tenth Anniversary Art Contest
My condolences, Earth Gwee. You know, one of my cats passed away few days before Christmas in 2012. He was a grey persian cat, a really pretty one. He died because of a genetical decease in the kidnies. It happened from all sudden and there was nothing we could do...
Re: RPC Tenth Anniversary Art Contest
My condolences as well Gwee. I never experianced death of pet before but I can imagine it is really hard
Re: RPC Tenth Anniversary Art Contest
My condolences. I've had several that pass away as well. First one got hit by a car, second one because of old age (Sadly this happened while I was on vacation, and it didn't allow me to enjoy the rest of my trip. Had that in my life for thirteen years.), and one even got caught by coyotes. Horrible events, and it takes a lot of time to get over it.Earth Gwee wrote:He was our dog. I'd figure that sometimes people might try to come up with a more creative phrase than 'my condolences,' but that's none of my business.

Well it's the kind of situation where you never know what to say. You have my sympathies, Gwee.

It conveys the feeling well, especially if you don't really know how else you could let someone know, thatAdsolution wrote:I'd figure that sometimes people might try to come up with a more creative phrase than 'my condolences,' but that's none of my business.
Earth Gwee, I'm sorry for you.

Thank you, guys. I'm still horribly grieving, but I feel I have become a little bit stronger. I have to keep in mind that Buddy was strong and hopeful too, despite his pain. That's something so many people can learn from him.

I'm sorry to swing the mood around like so, Gwee; of course I'm still very sorry for what happened.

Re: RPC Tenth Anniversary Art Contest
Indeed, not to mention that my entry isn't all that, and the prizes on offer are pretty darn good.
