If Rayman is the main protagonist, I could imagine Betilla and the Magician being secondary protagonists, like in the games.

Hm, I'd see them more as parental figures, always helping Rayman grow into a better person and hero, kinda like Rayman's Ma and Pa Kents, in a way.

I don't really like the idea of exclusive TV Show characters. Even in 4 episode Rayman show, Exclusive characters felt like they were not needed. I mean Rayman 2 has tons of characters from game that could work. Keep in mind guys that I do not hate 4 episode Rayman show in any ways (infact I find it underrated and wish we got all episodes), but I think it would be more popular and less hated if it had characters from games.

@Dragon, indeed, so what about Mr. Dark then? I once made mention of having him be the Lich of the Rayverse.

I personally don't see so much 'loathing' hatred but more "It sucks so much it's funny" kinda attitude.

I think that role would work well for Mr Dark!

Well then, let's see, if this is to take place before the rise of Mr. Dark, then Picture City will still be a sprawling Metropolis, the Dream Forests would be serene woods of beauty inhabited by peaceful moskitos, Band Land would be a sprawling conundrum of harmonic bliss, the Blue Mountains would be host to many huts and shacks, and so on and so forth.

Hm, setting, main characters checked off, now then, we got some of the scenario, we're thinking in terms of the world prior to the theft of the Great Protoon, and exploring Rayman's growth. But what's a Rayman meant to get up to during this period?

Ah, the scenario we have is Rayman growing up, so I doubt he'd be there yet.

With all due respect, YouTube is a festering ground for the most diabolical and quirky thoughts the internet has seen, there's always hate to be found there. I'm just glad that there is still opportunity for good discussion in there amongst the constant insanity.

I'd say he'd get up to mischief perhaps similar to that in Rayman Activity Centre.
