Just an example: A frenchmen writes an O instead of Eau ( the french word for water ), because they pronounce Eau like O; it is not only incorrect but it confuses people, they don't know what the heck did he mean by O. ( this is just an example to confirm my point, it was the first thing that came to my mind )

So please don't do it, especially if we ask you politely!

Rayrobi, despite the fact that you are technically right in that it is a pretty prominent error, you might want to consider capitalising the word 'I' before you go about hounding other people for their grammar in such a random overly-confrontational fashion. Even when I did it before, I was brief and to-the-point about it.

Two things:
-I merely explained that it's a habit of mine that I have tried to kick, but it's kind of stuck. I never try to claim I am right in saying it, and I don't try to annoy people with it. It's not even that frequent, as I don't use the phrase that frequently, and I don't make the mistake 100% of the time.

-I did it here intentionally as a joke. Please calm down a bit.
