But Ad is right. I'd expect 60% of all users own an original PS1 copy. I myself own the PAL and NTSC-J version.

I am gonna soon sell Platinum PAL version of R1 because I am getting rid of all games I own that are not regular edition and missing manual and I will instead buy them again complete. Which PS1 version non platinum is from 1995 and which one from 2000?

Ah, yes! The flamboyant one; that's my favorite, too! It's one of the reasons he's my favorite character along with Mister Dark (I don't really count main characters as my favorites) .

I wasn't sure because I don't know what NTSC is.

I don't have Facebook but I am sure that many fans will like the page.

Ah the one downside I can think of to not having a Facebook account. Unfortunately my comfort zone doesn't extend beyond Gmail.

Wow wow wow, that's sounds like a fantastic project. The music of Rayman 1 is not only a substantial part of the game, it's just legendary for me. It's an honor to meet the person who stands behind the amazing music work behind Rayman in this forum. I just love tracks like Moskito Battle 2, Bongo Hills Area 1 or the famous Mr. Dark Battle. In fact I know many of this melodies by heart as many of the other people in here, thank you for contributing a great soundtrack for a legendary game. I wish you great success with this project and almost can't believe that you put such an amazing effort into something, that now lives on for about 20 years and which has not been forgotten by it's community but by many people who moved on to other games. Thanks for enriching my childhood with moments of great pleasure and deep immersion into a great universe, a world of fantastic music and great visuals. Thank you, Mr. Gazel!

The first rehearsal of the project is scheduled for Monday 03/03, with Sandrine (sax), Robin (electric bass), Xave (percussion / drums), and myself (piano/keyboards).
