You know Tamaki, I guess I'd feel bad for myself if the content you "created" was actually new, but it really wasn't. 90% of the information was already knew for years and the stuff you claim to have gathered is originating partially from here since this community had been gathering informations about the project since it was relevant back then. Don't think that those 2 screenshots showing Rayman standing on flat textures surrounded by untextured blocks and darkness justifies you though I agree that the means I got access to this stuff were somewhat questionable indeed.
I was preparing myself to actually pay 10 dollars for something I was anxious to know anything about for more than a decade and the new informations I got for it was almost zero, save for 2 or 3 concept art pieces. This community have already had numerous occasions where various different persons were asked about stuff regarding the development of Rayman games (actual game developers were asked!) and the info we've gathered for FREE by simply asking them were many times the amount that you've presented in your video.

If that makes you feel any better I didn't actually share the R4 video because I see no reason to do so. I'll leave the pleasure of paying money for almost nothing for some other desperate Rayman fan who's super excited to know something about one of his/her favorite childhood video game franchise.

Also, I'm not planning to actively rip you off by constantly releasing all the stuff that you make available for "Backers only", but you must understand that I'm eager to get any informations regarding this project and after seeing the actual amount of new content you had after I thought I've paid 10 dollars I was extremely pissed off and even though that later I found out that I didn't actually had to pay anything for it I was still disapppointed. I guess I can be pretty arrogant sometimes.

Well actually I would dissect that statement.

We've done nothing damaging, I agree : someone uploading the podcast and the information for ourselves (a very limited community, mind you) and I assumed we'll leave it at that. Somebody ill-intended might repost it elsewhere and reap the profits, but I don't think it would come from here. I think as a whole we respect the work that has been done.

That being said, it's still kinda wrong. As an aspiring Youtuber, I know that I'd be pissed off if someone downloaded my videos to redistribute somewhere else, for profit or not. It undermines a bit the work that has been done. So I can't blame him for getting pissed, even though a far better solution would have PM'ed Hunch instead of losing his shit.

1) I obtained direct permission to distribute the screens. You pirates did not. The intention was that they wanted people to view the video to understand the ordeal they went through in order to view them.

2) Wrong. It was "obtained" legally, but it was not meant to be distributed in this way to all. It was meant exclusively for Patrons. You are completely and utterly wrong about this. The way you guys re-uploaded it without my permission was disgusting.

3) What relevance is that? It was still my research. I did the leg work. It's a matter of principle that I asked people to fucking wait. It's not a legal matter. It's a matter of respect.

I'm not complaining that you've somehow "damaged" me in some business way, or whatever. It's a matter of principle.

1) They're screens from a program. We're not pirating anything, nor stealing anything of yours if we're sharing images that don't belong to you.

2) It was recieved legally for free. I could have gone and signed up temporarily for the free podcast too, all they did was cut out the rigmarole of signing up to patreon and released it here. There would be no difference in signing up for a free patreon to listen to the file distributed here other than us wasting 10 minutes siging up only to stop the subscription again.

3) If I go look something up on the internet and distribute it for free myself and then someone else takes that information I gathered and distributed it for free again while stating it was from me, I would have no reason to be pissed off and you shouldn't either.

Screw your 'manner of principle', you're just looking for reasons to say you're in the right for kickng up such a fuss in the fist place. We're not pirating anything, stealing anything, claiming ownersip of anything or breaking any laws.
