The jack's gone wrong somehow, I couldn't push the cord in and then when I opened it up to look, it turned out the little metal clip thing inside had become unglued from the hole so pushing the cord just pushed the metal clip further in. Also the wire attached to the clip has come off because it was really badly soldered.

But I know the basic chords now and can bar chord quite well on E, although I'm slow to switch on open still.

Ugh.. Hope you'll fix that soon :\

Personally I'm learning Lenny now... Song by Stevie Ray Vaughan, it just owns so much.

I've only been reading tabs with basic chords at the moment, some stuff by the Kinks, David Bowie, Pink Floyd... I've learnt a couple of riffs too though, I can do Day Tripper and Don't Fear the Reaper quite well at the moment.

Oh damn, I know like 1 riff which is Smoke n the Water haha... oh and a few Overkill ones. \m/
Focusing on solo playing right now tbh.

Well that was a quick way to end the conversation.

I can play Guitar quite proficiently now. I can play most chords and change between them quickly with ease. I am able to change between open and Barre chords quickly and get all the notes to ring clear. Now that I have become good at my rhythm Guitar, I intend to start learning more scales, and start on picking techniques and lead guitar.
