Hunchman, those are probably my least favourite levels.

Re: Favorite Rayman 2 Levels?
My favorites are Whale Bay, The Bayou, and The Sanctuary of Stone and Fire.
Re: Favorite Rayman 2 Levels?
My favourites...
1. Top of the World.
Both the soundtrack and the layout of this level are awesome. I like it the most, even though I have great difficulty with it.
2. Menhir Hills
Again, soundtrack is awesome. Also, it's one of the only two levels which you can do the keg glitch (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1v3ke04-siE).
3. Beneath the Sanctuary of Rock and Lava
Super Helicopter rocks!

For me, it's the echoeing caves, pirate factory and prison ship. I'm mentioning the revolution version, btw.

Maybe he forgot, would rather explain his choices rather than just tick the box or he has 3 favorites and the poll only accepts 2...?Rayman4321 wrote:THEN WHY TH didnt you vote for them?!?!?Marley wrote:My favourites...

Re: Favorite Rayman 2 Levels?
I actually did vote for them, but for some reason the poll didn't record my vote. I'll try it again.
EDIT: Yep. I tried to vote for too many options. I'll just vote for two of them.

Re: Favourite Level of Rayman 2
Does anyone know why the PS1 versions levels are so different to those of the other consoles (e.g. Prison Ship, the Clearing/Woods of Light), and why levels were removed (e.g. Top of the World, Santuary of Water and Ice)?

Re: Favourite Level of Rayman 2
The game was originally developed for 64-bit consoles, which is why they had to cut stuff in the PlayStation version.
Re: Favourite Level of Rayman 2
I'd hate to correct you here, but bits have nothing to do with it. That's especially true when, if you look up the N64's specs, it mostly ran in 32-bit mode despite it having 64-bit capability.
The PSOne has less video memory and overall internal memory than it's counterparts, so they had to change the levels to make them smaller.

Re: Favourite Level of Rayman 2
I was just referring to more powerful consoles, which all featured a 64 or 128-bit processor back then. Sorry if it wasn't clear enough, I don't know enough about console specifications to tell you what exactly limited the graphic quality and the length of the game

Re: Favourite Level of Rayman 2
Not to mention the fact that the PC was 32-bit at the time too.
Of course, I know even less about this as Hunch, so I could be totally wrong. *shields himself*

Re: Favourite Level of Rayman 2
And most PC's still are 32-bit. lol
Though my laptop is 64-bit.. and I honestly can't tell you of any big difference unless the program is specifically 64-bit (in which case it is faster) other than losing any compatibility with 16-bit programs such as Rayman 2's piracy protection or Rayman 1.

Re: Favourite Level of Rayman 2
Well sort of, the standard Windows OS was 32 bit at the time, but the PC could be capable of more than the OS lets it if it wants. There was an earlier 64 bit version of XP for a while too, which is somewhat rare now.PluMGMK wrote:Not to mention the fact that the PC was 32-bit at the time too.

Re: Favourite Level of Rayman 2
I think my favourite level is the echoing caves because it's rainy and you have to fly with the keg.

I like the Iron Mountains and the Prison Ship in all versions. Especially with all the fighting.

I like the Iron Mountains because of the rain.
