The big bang theory is nonsense though. If God didn't create everything, then what did? Nothing?

Top-notch theory if you ask me.

If god created everything then what created god?

That's the type of things I'll be asking after the rapture.

That's why I don't beleive in god.

What created the universe? What created the rock from which 'The Big Bang' destroyed? What caused the explosion?

I'd love to know the answers to these.

There are some things, we're not meant to know.

I'll admit, the Bible, whether you view it as a factual recount or not still contains lots of good morals. That's one of the things religion is based on; the other being people's need to know everything.

It amazes me that you, without having studied advanced astro-physics for a second, are able to dismiss the big bang theory as nonsense. And instead you fit god into the equation, which instead of balancing it out neatly really just messes it up. Serza made a very good point, which you utterly failed to resond to. According to your logic nothing can be created out of nothing, therefore the big bang theory is nonsense because it involves exactly this. But if the universe was created by a god, the what created the god? Obviously he can't have come from nothing, because you just used the same logic to dismiss the big bang theory. Your logic is flawed.

And @ spiraldoor: Everything you say is wrong. So far, you've based almost all of your opinions on false facts. Make sure you know all the relevant facts before you give your opinion. You've made a fool of yourself on this forum so many times that you should be dead by now from the shame and humiliation.
And btw, how old are you? My guess is that you're about 12.

I think he's 14 or 15. But anyway, Tobbe raises several good points. I don't see anything in his post I disagree with.

I believe in evolution- there's evidence of it everywhere! An finch is a type of bird- but it might be small and eat worms here, but in another counrty it's twice as big and eats seeds. And there's another type that drinks cow blood. They've all evoluved to suit their enviroment.

Even mice are more similar to humans then you'd think.

Maybe there's something special about time that we haven't (and probably never will) discover. There must be a fault somewhere in the laws of time.

Well, the fact that apparently time goes back to beyond comprehension there must be something about it that we don't know. Perhaps there was a reverse time, and the Big Bang was the creation of it - everything before this time works exactly as time does now.

We must be in a definate loop of time and space!!

Maybe we've lived before...but the same life!! Maybe I've posted this message before, but millions of years ago! Maybe we've died and been born 10000000000000000000000000000000 of times!

But yes, there's something about time and space that we're unaware of, I'm sure of it.

Why don't you believe that. It's pretty obvious. And our DNA is in fact more than 99% the same as apes.

Actually, some guy at the Vatican called Georges Lemaître came up with it. He thought it was proof of God or something. He was ridiculed by scientists. Anyway, Big Bang DID happen, it's been proven. Some energy from the Big Bang that still remains, called background microwave radiation, proves it.
