Doesn't matter, as long we can get pictures of it ^^ As for the EEG-like thing, I don't think it's really interesting :P

@Hunchman801 :

Well there is also a magican with a red ting (but the animation crashes the game) and a short line with a plum (jungle) which makes circles. You also forget the little livingstone on the plum...well i think there are a few more things. I will screen-shot it all and than you can decide if you want to use it or not.

Oh, and there are some rare (and some never seen, i think) rayman animations hidden in the game
I can make a sprite-sheed for it ;)

Oh and we can ripp almost every single animation frame of the objects in RD (But its a lot work maybe....and there is no guarantee that it will work with all objects).

It is imperative that you extract as many of these odd things as possible.

By the way, I have created a separate article for the beta versions of the original game. Feel free to expand it :)

spiraldoor wrote:Many topics have people discussing betas. So I decided that there should be just one topic for them. So I made this.

Rayman 1:
Click here to download an early Atari Jaguar beta version of Rayman 1, found by Stan, I think
A video of this beta can be found here.

Rayman 2:
Scans from a magazine, uploaded by Kelvin, showing some of the 2D beta version of Rayman 2:
...and here...
Video showing some of this 2D version of R2.
A level from this 2D R2 beta was included as a bonus in the PS1 version of R2.

Rayman 3:
A video, uploaded by Drolpiraat, of a Rayman 3 beta can be seen here and here.

Let me get this out of the way first:
I am perfectly aware that most of this is known to everone here already.
I just thought that there should be a topic about betas.
I can't download the first beta

How to get the beta-demo working?
It always asks for a passwort and server or something like that.

I think I've seen this long ago, back when R3 was new. I think it's indeed a part of what was going to be at the giant 3-legged octopus robot.

Strange though that the tunnel also looks like it could come right out of the desert of the knaaren.

It may be the aquatic world or it may be a version of the Land of the Livid Dead. That mechanical fish thing is part of Céloche; you can see it floating around during the fight with him.

Interestingly the walls show engravings of Teensies catching fish. I guess Teensies eat fish, then.
