I usually hate remakes but this may be an exception due to the nature of the series.

But I think this one is going to be superior to D/P.

Look on the bright side. When these remakes come out, we'll only have to worry about one or two new Pokemon. A legendary(ies).

I'm SURE there will be a new one. Probably a very gimmicky Pokemon. GameFreak always does this.

They have never introduced more pokemon within a generation.

I think a bug/fighting type should be made.

I'm not sure about that. On FireRed/LeafGreen the new stuff were the Sevi Islands, Moltres changed location, some Jotho PKMNs that appear on those and acess to some legendaries.
