Sure, we can put it in a level..But only if the user gets into the level and then gets into cheatengine and then puts it there taking awhile to do it, everytime he/she wants to play it. That's overly complicated, and not related to this topic.

If you guys want to discuss something like that, please go to either the Cheat Engine topic or Unlock Ray, or hey; you could make your own topic called "Rayman Designer Cheat Engine" how about that? Atleast then we wouldn't be breaking this one.

No they are in the DIV.DES file. I found them there (most times completly messed up with other things, but some normal sprites are also there). But whenever i want to put them in the map they dissapear

But i didn't find them on the "normal way" with the spritefinder. Maybe thats the problem (i didn't use CE or anything). So if you are bored than search in the whole DIV file after these things with the spritefinder. They must be there somewhere.... (I already do that from time to time but find nothing -.-)

I still think the numbers are related somehow.

The topic isn't "drifting" the topic is being completely changed from the point of this topic. Which is to talk about the PCX AND MLTS not some retarded crap you can do with cheat engine. How the heck is this at all related to cheat engine? Drifting requires it to be somehow related to the topic at hand, which besides the fact that it is in rayman designer, and that it's something that wouldn't have been there if you didn't do it, it has nothing to do with it.

It also can't help us find anything that can actually be put in the level longterm because we found it in cheatengine, we would still have to find it in an eve.mlt, and etcetera.

My request isn't complicated or unreasonable, and that is to get off the topic if you're talking about it, because there are two other topics that would gladdly take in this cheat engine nonsense, and that posting it there would have something to do with the topic.

But your request does NOT make sense, seeing as in comparison to what I am about to mention. Jaxx posted a thread about Cheat Engine in the "Rayman Designer" section on BG, yet here it is mentioned as effing retarded crap. I'm not following this forum translation.

Think about it this way: Will you policing these topics lead to a greater benefit to the forums? Or will letting people have more freedom and more social interaction as well as the main discussion lead to a greater benefit? Just like in BG, The offtopic section should be a little more free for those who are members there. It's not like people signed up to BG to talk about Off Topic, we signed up there because we're interested in hacking (yes I said hacking) Rayman Designer. Yes I know we have one topic to talk about random stuff, but that's not enough really. Off Topic IS important to build a community, and I can guarantee you, if you give people the freedom to make their own topics and just overall more freedom, there will be more activity. May I suggest a VERY good topic that should be pinned in the Off Topic section with a forum-link to it on the front page? An Introduction section. A section where people can post topics introducing themselves to the forums, and we can welcome them too. One of the main factual reasons why most of the users who joined haven't even posted is because they have nowhere to begin, there's nothing to get them going, mind you I am making tutorials, but they need to feel welcome.

As far as I know, I'm not really sure why, but you haven't taken a single one of my suggestions into consideration. Now I'm not going to be modest with myself because that never got anyone anywhere real, but nine out of ten people agree with my suggestions, and you should listen to the community and take things into consideration and actually add to the forum what the members would want, not how you think you want it to work to the bane of everyone else if you want to keep up a good forum and attract more users. You've also tended to just brush off suggestions saying "No, my idea's better and that's how it stays", when in all truths and reality, that's not how we see it. How could it possibly be a better idea if almost all of us don't agree with it? Uness of course everyone but you is a complete nut.

Now I've had a good time there, but it's been two years and we only have a few users posting constantly. Notice how after a while users just stopped posting? I talked to Strongsad and he said he felt you were being too strict and closed (not-open) so he didn't feel like he really had a home there anymore, as well as him planning for University. I think he's 17 now? but anyway, I HOPE you take these things into consideration for the good of Us.

I've been giving useful ideas for two years, and you've rejected every single one of them, and you subliminally mock them whether you realize it or not. I presented them to you, and you replied with a new emoticon you just stuck in there, basically telling me you don't give a fuck.

I was one of three people who started the forum with you, even though I wasn't physically making the forum, and as far as I know, I've been attempting to help for TWO YEARS, especially recently since I saw that we really needed more users in BG, but nope. Who exactly is "we?" A few users on a forum? There are plenty of people out there that can share your beliefs, and plenty that can share mine, regardless of if they joined my forum. Therefore , hypothetically, a bunch of nuts could've joined my forum.

I made an announcement (the rules), a second announcement (specifically about double posting), and I made almost every forum on there say "Remember: NO DOUBLE POSTING". Also, I warned you about it the other times, everytime saying don't do this, don't do this. I got fed up.

How the heck does any of this have to do with cheat engine? This is left better suited in the PM section, and not in this topic.

Even though I have my opinions on the current discussion, it's not going to take us anywhere, which is why this argument has to stop right now. As concerns the original problem, whether Cheat Engine stuff should be posted in this topic is a question of interpretation, but I suggest we either create a new topic or use the existing one in order to avoid any further disagreements.
Following the small “debate” about off-topic messages, I would like to remind you that off-topic is usually permitted at PC, even though users are encouraged to stay on topic in the Rayman section. Common sense should be the way to go, and for those not endowed with it, the moderating team is here to help out. While friendly advice between members is always welcome, back-seat modding is not, and I count on you take this into consideration more seriously.
