I think I had this issue for years, but it started to get worse when I became an adult, and then it slowly worsened. I think switching from lager to stout did help somewhat since 2 years off drink didn't seem like much, but then when I drank Guinness I didn't have the same horrible experience I used to have back then.

I've got this little milk frother/heater thing that looks like a can and during lockdown I was experimenting with making cappuccinos with.

I think it's a frother. I'd be curious to try using one once.

There is one of those coffee grinders in this house for making the proper coffee. Sadly, I can't really drink it, but when others make it, it smells really nice.

Ground coffee always had this pleasant smell to it, which is why my mom uses it for my room.

Yeah I like the smell of coffee a lot.

I like the smell of both, they're calming.

Everyone I know who dislikes coffee always tells me they like the smell of it, but tasting it is a different story.

I always liked the smell of it, I like the taste too, it's just that my stomach doesn't seem to like the caffeine.

I like the smell and I'm slowly easing into the taste. I can down it black but it'll still be too much for me as of now.

If caffeine is the problem surely you could give decaff a go if you wanted. I often have decaff at night and you can get decaff pods for machines and stuff.

I have a pretty large coffee plant in my room that smells fantastic, sort of a mix of ground coffee and freshly cut grass. It has never produced any flowers unfortunately. Maybe this year?

Tea is the superior drink though.

I did try decaf tea before, it might be just the hot drink, but I'm fairly sure coffee affects me a lot worse than tea.

Also a coffee plant? That's interesting actually.

My favourite tea would be a chai tea latte and my favourite coffee would be a frappucino of sorts.

I'd be more inclined to try a frappucino if it was non-dairy like with almond milk, mainly just because I don't like cold milk.

I've bought a few frapuccinos this year and they've all been disgusting, just too much syrupy sugary shit is added. Even on a really hot day I'll just go for a latte now.

There used to be that ruby hot chocolate they did in Costa some months back but since lockdown eases meant that Costas could be open again they stopped doing them. Hope they come back next January.
