I did want to go all out, but seeing how I've been plodding along, I've kind of lost the will to do so.

Thats what you get for pirating the game. You must buy original in order to be able to go online. If you are afraid that post will "steal" your game, then just use Steam and get digital copy.

I would understand if he pirated some game he hates so he wanted just to try it out. But pirating a Rayman game :boon:
Give Ubi some support. Game has enought trouble with sales.

But how did he pirate it?You need a code that comes with the game to play it.

Cracked excutables, keygens, there be a crafty lot out there.
However, I'm curious as to his circumstance, did he pirate it to save himself money? Or was there some circumstance which made legitimate acquisition difficult?

there is crack file that bypas code check but with that crack, you can't go online since it also bypass UPlay.

He said before that his local post office "steals" his packages, but for RL, he could get digital version. And this whole post "stealing" story is in my opinion just an excuse not to pay for item. He did once said he has no money but he later contradicted that statement.

Hm, his situation could be similar to mine in the regard that he cannot make online transactions yet.

I never quite fully understood why certin people can't do it before 18. I was doing online transactions since 15 (but not from foreign sites since nobody had a PayPal)

There are legitimate reasons, I do have a card, and I can make withdrawals, but I can't use it to pay for things yet, it's a limitation my parents put on, and I can understand their logic, not everyone has a suitable mindset to make transactions at my age or below.

Oh so it's just a parents limitation? I for a second thought it is some law in UK that limits users that are under 18 to purchase. I personally do not understand logic like that because person thinks the same at 17 and at 18. It would make more sense if they did not allow you to do online purchases until you turn 16 because now that you are 17 and when you are 18, you are pretty much think exactly same. It's just 1 year gap. I would understand maybe a sites like eBay if they thought it's not safe enough but I fail to see why are they not letting you purchase digitally from PSN or stuff like that since that is insta-download. But I guess they have their own views and that should be respected.

Hm, I appreciate my parent's logic, however, they also understand when limitations need to be forsaken, at one point, I was not to have a mobile until I was 16, but circumstances were such that I got my first phone at 12.

As for spending, seeing as I've never been given a large amount to spend for myself, and I've always done all my payments for stuff I wanted through them, I can appreciate that despite my own maturity in other regards, I'm pretty naive to the world of financing and budgeting, they've begun to help me out in that regard, but I can see why they don't think I'm ready for that responsibility.

In the next Kiosk they're selling Prepaid Visa CreditCards. The seller sold one for me without asking my age anyway. Registration was quite easy and super quick and now I have a fully working Prepaid Creditcard. The only limitation I have on it is, I can't charge my card more than 100€ per month. I can remove this restriction but I'll have to legitimate myself.

Hm I should get a Visa card myself since American Express cannot withdraw PayPal money. When I once tried, PayPal kept telling me it must be Visa.

If my calculations are right, I need to play for approximately 2 or 3 months with golden cups in other to get the Level 11 in PC version. People tend to tell me I have a "patience of a saint" so it might be possible.

Just so I'm completely honest (as I dislike lying or being shady without good reason), I actually have pirated copies of Legends, technically.

Ya see, I have a Jtagged Xbox 360 (well, it's really my brother's, but we live in the same house). So my brother actually got Legends a few days before release, as the ISO was uploaded. I did actually play a level or two, as well as Kung Foot, before release.
My brother also pirated the PC version after he got his new laptop.

However, I had planned to get the Wii U version, and never had any intention of changing that plan, and I had it pre-ordered. So I did buy the game on release anyway, at full price.

My brother also bought the Vita version soon after, at full price.

So yeah, thar be sum piratin' scum in me house!

Really though, I don't condone piracy, without good reason (for example, I have a hacked Wii too, so I get free Wii games and GameCube games. But I had my brother hack it because my disc drive broke anyway, and would cost a bit to get repaired, and both consoles are obsolete now anyway). I still buy games most of the time. Though I do not have a problem with pirating a game that is mostly only found used, because used copies don't do anything for developers anyway, and can be really expensive in some cases (this applies to GameCube games, for example).

And in the case of Legends, it was my brother who wanted to pirate. He doesn't see it the same way as me, but at least he bought a full price copy anyway.
