Oh well, it is only "challenging" in the beginning.
Especially the second part where you have to run and time your jumps where all of those bats are chasing after you. Took me a day to finish Land of Livid dead. It was so challanging. The boss was a little easy to beat, well when I knew all of the attacks then I beated the boss in no time

I found the part where you have to sprint to keep up with the creature hard and the fire part right before Big Mama hard. The other parts wern't too bad.

Really? I know it's meant to be difficult, but not so
challanging to the point where you'd have to put in a whole days worth of playtime...

Well, not 24 hours. Probably 7 to 9 hours. The end to the boss was a little easy.

Only took me like an hour

felt like forever though but once you master the rhythm and flow of the level its pretty easy and satisfying

LotLD is damn easy. Want challenge? Co-op of 4 players, beating the level at first try, with no death, and no cursing at each other.
I double dog dare you to do this.

Have you by any chance accomplished this?

I didn't even pass the first part with a friend!

I did it with one other player once (the only time I'd ever played Origins co-op), and we somehow made it past the first area in three tries, the second in about twenty, and the third we couldn't finish.

I played LotLD with my friend Marklar (also on the forum) and we passed it in its entirety, right through Big Mama's battle.

And yes, something along those lines, though with fewer words.

I did it with a friend. I mean, I was the only one alive at the end of each screen. except big mama, we both survived and he killed her.

I still think that the Land of the Livid Dead was designed with Single-Player in mind. To pass it in multi all the players must be ridiculously sync and organized.

The synchronisation required to beat the level with all players alive is such that you might as well create a gizmo which simultaneously transmits the same input for all four players at the same time, because I don't think it is humanly possible.

It depends on who you play it with and how you play it. If you impose the objective of beating the level seriously, you're gonna have a bad time

. Rayman Origins' multiplayer was apparently designed for people who enjoy being... you know, wacky and stupid... just like me and my friends... and believe me, IT WORKS... almost everyone dies at least 5 times, but nobody cares because at least someone from the group advances xD

it's weird that the most players you have, the hardest it gets, despite everyone being nearly invulnerable since everyone can revive anyone.
you need good synchronisation for the lums as well. I think my friend managed to catch more lums than me on a few levels, but since he wasn't catching them in the most efficient way and preventing me to do so, the scores were quite below my max scores.

Has anyone tried to abuse slap knockback in LotLD? My only co-player is so far on a bit lower level, so can't check how well it works.

Stan! You're back!
I completed the LOTLD with 2 other players and it was hard as wooden shit.

Not in the livid dead, but we have abused it to acquire some of the more tricky skull coins when playing in coop
