+ Somehow ended up forgetting to check in here for a while, but here I am

-/+ I had a huge relapse on my diet today, and it's been happening a little too often lately. However, I think I'm gonna up the daily calorie limit seeing as It's already really low and all it's doing is making me eat so little during the day that I then end up overeating at night.

+ I'm planning to return to animal crossing this month once spring comes back. I've really missed playing it.

+ I was thinking I'd never actually be able to say this, but for the first time in maybe two years I can confidently say that I'm happy with my life again. Things haven't really changed and there's still problems that exist and bother me, but there's a huge change in how I look at those things and generally feel. I've spend a lot of time feeling completely hopeless and hollow, with the littlest of things immediately getting to me and causing me to spend entire days hating myself. I feel a lot more comfortable with myself, and I no longer feel like I have to change myself either. Social anxiety has weakened a lot, and even though it's definitely not gone yet, it's not really on my mind that much anymore, nor do I feel like it's holding me back that much. If anything, I'm more likely not to interact with someone because they're just kind of a dick (Or basically, the 95% of my school that's super homophobic). Overall, everything feels really refreshing and I'm regaining huge interest and appreciation for things that I've felt like I wasn't able to care about anymore. I feel like a real person again, not someone who's problems are keeping them from who they could be.

- Have another long day today, and I'm not so fond of the place I have my morning lecture
+ At least I'm properly awake, and not out of it like yesterday.

- It's melting quickly, which is good for transport, but not good for the fact I haven't fainted yet so can't go out in it
- Shouldn't have stayed up, despite it being for a good cause.

++ Keane, that's so great! That really is something to celebrate. Do you know what brought on the change?

I'm curious, are they legitimately homophobic, or just ignorant towards how harmful jokes can be at times?

Really, I suspect the latter. The only people who are really genuinely homophobic in their views are right-wing religionists. But people will always pick on minority groups to make themselves feel better in their positions, that's just the way it is and people have to accept that.

I don't know, I think I just grew tired of it really. If you've ever dieted you'll probably know that it starts out as this exciting new lifestyle, but after a while it starts to grow more into an annoyance and you're not that loyal towards that daily calorie limit anymore. That's how I feel about it now - there may still be some anxious thoughts, but i'm just not that convinced that i should be caring about them or giving in to them.

It's kinda 50/50. There's a lot of "I'm against it but I don't support it!" people who are more just ignorant, but you've definitely got the full blown homophobes who you just know are eating up shit tons of fox news and right-wing parent claims. Generally I find that people either act almost afraid of it, or they try to act as confident as possible and throw slurs around everywhere. Though at the very least there's a fair handful of people who seem fine with it and of the few people I know are LGBT, none of them seem to be facing any problems.

I hate the right-wing shit though, because you just know those people are homophobic. At least, whenever my chem teacher gives us another one of her "healthcare is pure evil, i live and breath for my church, and you might be able to find a comment of mine on darren wilson's donation page" talks, it's pretty hard to feel like she's in any way open minded on the topic of LGBT.

- There is something wrong with my wages : it is missing roughly 600 euros, maybe even more. That's pretty strange: even if I didn't work during 2 days out of 21 over the month, these days were justified and only count for not even 10% of my global salary. Even with taxes and shit, I should have earned way more. I contacted my boss today for more information, so I'm waiting.
+ Well, still got some money.

- My day was very active, but I kept running into efficiency issues and stuff I forgot.

I thought teachers weren't allowed to bring strong opinions into the classroom. Then again, that might not be a rule at all, I just figure it would be.

Even if it was "weren't allowed to" doesn't exactly mean that they won't do it anyway, just like how some people break the law despite it being a law.
