Because I don't want this side conversation to be blown out of proportion. I felt like what I said is self-explanatory but okay.
Kashmir is in the north of India but is disputed territory, is it in the south of Asia? It's right next to Tajikistan. If Tajikistan is central Asia, why isn't Kashmir? The north of india probably has more in common with Pakistan and Tajikistan than with the southern Indian states within the country.

Tajikistan is North of Kashmir, and besides, we’re talking COUNTRIES in Central Asia, not autonomous territories. We’re not gonna reclass the position of India because of one state that is barely even considered India

Alright, I personally disagree but you’ve made quite a few points that I agree with

No need for a clue, this is the correct answer! Tajik is variety of Persian, while the majority languages of all four other Central Asian countries (Kazakh, Turkmen, Kyrgyz and Uzbek) are Turkic.
