Just remembered I had an account on here so thought i'd post this, that i just found :
http://www.jvn.com/jeux/articles/rayman ... avant.html
Does this count as news? Google translate is awful so I have no idea what half of it is supposed to mean but...it sounds like some info is coming in 10 days? 12th of May
Also news on BGE2 which is good. What do you guys make of it?

It just says that there won't be any info on Origins before the 12th of May. About BGE, they just say they would have liked to talk about it with him.

No news before day 12th May? Interesting, I'll be aware of any upcoming news from that day on.

Is that Ancel’s house or the Ubisoft Montpellier studio?

Well, how I see it, the video is obviously a really badly acted joke :p its described in the title as a "teaser" so i believe they definitely DO have info, and theyre just not releasing that information till the 12th of may.
Or maybe I just can't read french or english.
But whatever you gotta give me credit for finding that

It had only been on the internet 2 hours when I found it so, yay! We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

I'd like to have some information on the actual state of the game, too bad Ubisoft doesn't inform his players very well.
As i said on RZ:
Not buying this if it isn't a good game.

I really doubt it is going to be a bad game. I have numerous reasons to believe so.

What i am afraid of is that Ubisoft may or not may make this game end up like RRR, There was a cool trailer and all, but then, it was a minigame collection.
I know this is not probable, but i'm just saying.

You are really forgetting that Michel Ancel is fully working in RO. That's why Rayman 1 and Rayman 2 worked out very well. With Rayman 3, everyone could see it wasn't the same thing. And even better example than Rayman 3, was RRR1.

Don’t get too proud. We all find news on the internet every now and again.

In regards to giving me credit, that was a joke.

I've never found any particularly new information all by myself so yes, forgive me for being a bit proud.
My personal opinion is this game is going to be good old old-style Rayman, but obviously better graphics/slightly updated story. Not just some cheap, awful thing that they expect will keep the fans happy.
I think some of you are being WAY too pessimistic about this in general. They're keeping it secret because they don't have much else to tell you, besides the fact it's happening, and perhaps they just expect (as in the 90s/early 2000s) that people will just be patient, rather than wanting to be informed at all of what's happening. Now that might be wrong of them to expect that of people, in a time where it takes like 10 seconds to post "We're still working" on a social networking site, but I genuinely believe a lot of you are getting annoyed with them when you just need to wait. Yes they're late, and yes they're really not giving much info, but that does not stop this from being a genuinely awesome moment for all the Rayman fans that were completely let down after Rayman 3 (which was in 2003..can't believe how quickly time has gone since then)
Just my opinion.

He was fully working on Rayman Raving Rabbids for most of its production too. Didn't stop it from becoming a minigame collection.

You say well: most. It doesn't mean he was working in all. The missing percentage was enough to change drastically the original sketch of the game.

First, You got me confused.
Second, the game isnt out yet for a long while and i dont know if RO WILL be released on the PC for steam (or if it can run on certain computers), but Steam is full of Indie and creative games so i think RO would be able to squish in with the other big Ubisoft titles.
(reason of edit: i double posted + grammar issues)

For what it's worth, I don't think this game will be very good. It looks stupid, feels stupid, and seems to try hard to be very funny. Which it completely isn't, and which ruins the Rayman feeling. Now, the gameplay may be good, but the game will not be good in my opinion, based on what we have seen.

How many times I must repeat not only here but in Youtube comments aswell that Rayman and Globox won't look like goofy characters forever since the game's story will explain how they become with the heroical personalities that we know today?
