I know the iPad is capable of playing iPhone games, the only problem is the upscaling.

The game doesn't upscale, but it looks fine, it's just like playing something at half-resolution on the iPad. You won't notice after a minute.

I hate ubisoft though for not releasing Rayman 2 for android. But there will be Rayman Jungle run at least.

Of course it would, but Android users would thank Gameloft for making it available. Most Android users make question of not own an Apple device.
