<'s been having serious trouble sleeping recently and it's causing < to uncontrollably fall asleep during the day.
<'s parents' ridiculous solution to this is to punish me whenever I fall asleep by taking something away from me etc., probably hoping that if I'm punished enough then I'll "learn not to keep falling asleep" or something stupid. It's really becoming distressing being punished for something < can't control
