Then how in the world are you posting this?
Are you posting with 2 pc's?

Pretty cool, do you know how to use a MAC?

Macs are better for stuff like Photoshop and Internets rather than games and other windows-only apps, and the mice take some getting used to.

My only complaint about them is that they only sell their hardware for such high a price because of the shiny OS. Right now (especially in the case of Intel Macs), you could very easily build your own for <=1000 if you were to find a way to install Mac OS yourself. :\ As for now, you can easily just build yourself a high-end gaming PC for that price or less.
No doubt in my mind that Macs are fairly capable, but let's face the fact that they are FARRRR overpriced.
The only chance of me getting a Mac is if I got a job in graphics design or something, where I'd require it.
Well, that's off topic, but what odds.
To further enforce my point, let's take a shiny, brand new, Macbook Pro
http://www.apple.com/macbookpro/specs.html
With roughly a nVidia 9400-9600 inside.
I have about the same specs on a $900 refurbished ASUS G50V (Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz, can be overclocked, nvidia 9700m, 64-bit Windows, 4 gb RAM, etc). The processor in the Macbook Pro beats mine slightly, but it's still proven to me to be a pretty decent model.
And even so, if I were to buy this laptop brand new in the US at Best Buy or something, it'd be only $1000-$1200 compared to the Macbook Pro's $1699 pricetag with a weaker graphics chip and slower RAM (even though it's still 4 Gb standard). So I don't understand the point of saying Macbooks excel in graphics over Windows when it's all the same hardware these days. :\
But anyway, just to get back on topic...
I played Rayman Arena on the GameCube recently... it looks kiddier than the PC version somehow... Probably the different HUD.
*edit*
I don't know if I mentioned this before, but if you remember a topic I made years ago here and on RZ, I posted some glitches and some screenshots.
http://news.softpedia.com/news/Rayman-M ... 6094.shtml
Well, I found them here. I left a comment on the page (we'll see if it shows up), but I really don't mind the shots being used, considering I can't really claim ownership on such things.

Hello, when I play Rayman M, press Alt Tab, or simply the Windows button, and then activate Rayman M again, it crashes. Everytime. Does anyone know how to prevent that?
Thanks have advanced

Simply don't do Alt Tab.

Yeah, but I want to (quickly) see when each character gets unlocked. I want to use Cheat Engine, to quickly complete the Polopopoi and Lums race, which are hard and thus take long. However, to use Cheat Engine, I must use Alt Tab or Windows...

Well Popolopoi and the Lums aren't too much hard to pass (comparing to the Bonus League battles

), the vital tricks are using well the optimization button and know very well the tracks and their shortcuts.

Popolopoi isn't that hard, yes, but I hate Lums. First, you need to play the track 1000 times to know exactly where all of the lums are, then you need to collect them all, and hopefully become first too...There must be a way to play Rayman M in windowed mode, or use Alt Tab, or something, so I can activate and switch between Cheat Engine and Rayman M...

I never could play Rayman M on a window... Which levels are you having difficulties for the Lums?

Well, I can eventually beat it, as I've completed the game 100%. However, I want to know when ou unlock each skin, and as quickly as possible.

I'm not really having trouble with a particular level, it's just that it takes so much time to beat it.
However, on Youtube, you see videos of Rayman M using Cheat Engine, so it should be possible to play Rayman M in windowed / however t's called mode.

Well if you have doubts on the Lums locations you can check out my youtube videos about Rayman M, now the skin unlocks and stuff I must check out the manual...

I can only agree there. It took me ages to complete some of the tracks in Lums mode for the first time, especially Thousand Waterfalls which was ultrahard because I fell down all the time or lost too many seconds on the slower paths and got beaten in the end.

I highly recommend not using 16-bit color mode (if you are in the game's settings). If not, I don't know what to do. I had similar problems when I ran the game in Vista as opposed to XP.

I play on 32 bit, with the highest settings.

Don't know does it apply, but in my case it crashed only when antivirus broke loading sequence with update reminder. Alt+Tab worked well. Other thing is I used Win98, and now I have Vista... I'd check later how does it work.

It's probably to do with your OS. I remember years ago, when Raymn 2 used tokeep minimising on me for some reason on XP, not even Ctrl=Alt+Delete would help me. It was so annoying, not to mention devastating.

Rayman 2 also crashes when i use Alt Tab by the way. It also crashes when I try to change the graphci detail in game, but that's maybe because the menu doesn't work (the small one which you get when you put in the CD, when I press any button in that menu it crashes, thus I have to start Rayman 2 with the .exe file).
