Only when there is some promising information coming up people have to start making petty drama about the whole "Rayman and Globox act like idiots" thing again, really?
Hope this Gameinformer article will be good and fruitful though. =D

So all the awesome things in the trailer, such as the smooth gameplay, the amazing art style, the huge bosses and all the returning characters are just completely ignored just because of a little Rabbid-esque slapstick and a few continuity issues? Come on! This game is everything we could have asked for and more.

Excellent news. This is the most exciting development since the announcement of the game a year ago. Does anyone know when Game Informer usually publish their issues? At the start of the new month or the end of the preceding month or what? Six pages of screenshots and new information. I can’t wait.

Ah, reminds me of this:

Love this article.

It is in many ways relatable to the nitpicking around Rayman Origins. Hell, I've even considered doing something similar for Origins and putting it up here, but I couldn't bother.

I also cannot wait to know about new details.
Will someone buy it and upload the scannings here?

Oh finally there's gonna be some info
I do hope we'll see some scans, as some of us don't live in a place where... let me check it... uh, Game Informer is sold.

SO EXCITEDDD
...ALTHOUGH they may only use the screenshots from the site. I wouldn't be shocked.
Well, it's only an assumption so don't be mad at me...

Well, the first bits of info have leaked from the Game Informer Article, and it's great news! From Joystiq:
Rayman Origins is a retail game, now coming holiday 2011
When Game Informer revealed the contents of its new issue yesterday, buried under the Assassin's Creed: Revelations hoopla was the promise of Ubisoft news that has nothing to do with white hoodies or hidden knives: "six pages of new details and assets on the gorgeous new platformer, Rayman Origins."
For those assets, you'll have to wait to see the issue for yourself, but NeoGAFfer SolidSnakex summarized the new information about the platformer -- information welcome to those of us who get nervous when they don't get regular status updates about Michel Ancel games.
First announced as a downloadable, episodic title, Origins is now a retail game, and it's due this holiday season. It features four-player local co-op, though whether that is also online is unclear. According to the preview, it's designed to be accessible to players of different skill levels, and for each level to be enjoyable alone or in multiplayer. "I Dare You" challenges will allow players to bet on whether they can complete a "complex, acrobatic chain" to win in-game currency ("Lums.")
...and from the original NeoGaf forum post:
Rayman Origins
- Ancel notes that he's been working on BG&E2 for "a while". He said they've had a little break from that project that that's where RO started
- He noted that few people finished the original Rayman due to its difficulty. They hope to change that by making this one more accessible while still offering a challenge
- They're trying to design the game to fit various platforming styles. So people that enjoy collecting will have plenty to collect but it's also being designed for those that like to do speedruns
- The Lums you collect will act as currency for new power ups, health and 'I Dare You' challenges.
- 'I Dare You' challenges are where you wager on whether you can complete a complex, acrobatic chain.
- The game now supports 4 player local (they don't say anything about online) co-op.
- "The levels are designed with both single-playing and multiplayer in mind, so no one is at a loss if a player tackles the game alone or in a group.
- Rayman, Globox and two teensies were the 4 characters used in the mutliplayer demo
- In order to keep the game accessible all characters will have the same abilities
- While the game was a downloable title it has since become a full retail title. Ancel said that comes from people wanting to make a real sequel
- It's due this holiday for the PS3 and 360

Wow, it will be possible to 4 players to play at the same time, with Teensies for player 3 and 4? Excelent. X3
Lums seem to act again as currency, as it happened with RR... I wonder how those I Dare You challenges will really look like.
*Is hungry for more information about Rayman Origins*

I've no clue when Game Informer starts to show up in my local shops, but I'll be out and about today so if I see it I'll grab a copy and do some scans.
As for the news, sounds good. More players in co-op is always welcome and the switch to full-retail should make a quite a few people happy. I was totally cool with it being downloadable, but this is great too

I'm glad they are thinking in making a CD/DVD version of the game after. One of the things I wished to happen.

There seems to be a contradiction between the info in the video's description and the joystiq/NeoGaf report...
one more thing - what about it coming to the PC? I think it's about time thay'll give us confirmation about that...

That's because the video is a repost of the
original video which had no details in the video description.
In other words, that's just someone guessing how the game will be, so that information is fake.

I also am not saying that information is true, but I'm going to give the benifit of doubt.

Don't really like the idea of playing as Teensies [1) it'd be like NSMBW which I didn't like much, 2) They did this before in Rayman M >:C] but the rest sounds promising, especially now that it's going to be retail!

Do you think that the fact they didn't mention PC means it won't get a PC release? or they simply mentioned the facts only and PC isn't confirmed yet...
I hope it's the second option and that there will be a PC release or else I won't be able to play it

It never can be too much of the teensies.

I'm totally "pro" that!
