Re: Rayman Legends
I don't think Ubisoft see this as an opportunity to make money. There will be other games on the verge of release by February for both systems, plus most people who want Legends would have it by now. A PS4/Xbox One port with nothing new is bound to flop, especially with printing costs being involved to make the cost even higher (unless it's a digital only port). They'd have to add something to the game to entice people to buy it (and I wouldn't put it past them, if Rayman 2 and all of it's version differences are anything to go by).
Rayman Legends sales barely existed on PS3 and Xbox 360. The Wii U version sold best by a landslide. So I doubt people will want to buy a PS4/Xbox One version at this point, unless they are Rayman collectors, or there is some cool new content.

Re: Rayman Legends
If there ever was a PS4 port, it would take a bunch of new and better content to make me buy it since I spent 60.00 on a PS3 version. PS4 version would probably have been 70.00 or 80.00 depending on how much they want.sonicbrawler182 wrote:I don't think Ubisoft see this as an opportunity to make money. But if you have the PS3 version, you can get the PS4 version for free...right?Rayman502 wrote:If there ever was a PS4 port, it would take a bunch of new and better content to make me buy it since I spent 60.00 on a PS3 version. Re: Rayman Legends
Only if you bought it digitally, I believe.
Regarding physical copies, I know GameStop over here lets you upgrade for like, €15.

Re: Rayman Legends
No, I don't believe so. Wouldn't make an awful lot of sense if you did get to keep it.
Re: Rayman Legends
More artwork of Rayman Legends.

Re: Rayman Legends
Those characters look gloriously freaky and crazy!
Re: Rayman Legends
Awesome findings. I would take a risk by saying there are some prototype Barbaras and Dark Creatures.
Re: Rayman Legends
Space Mama, is that you?

Re: Rayman Legends
OK, considering how Ancel has said "there's always next time" regarding the Mansion world, and the fact that they have a ton of unused stuff that looks worthy of development means they HAVE to be making another UbiArt eventually.
Can't waaaaait.

After third one, they should try something else.sonicbrawler182 wrote:OK, considering how Ancel has said "there's always next time" regarding the Mansion world, and the fact that they have a ton of unused stuff that looks worthy of development means they HAVE to be making another UbiArt eventually.

Re: Rayman Legends
Agreed. Though, UbiArt is technically a 3D engine. So who knows, maybe we will get a Rayman equivalent to Super Mario 3D World now!
I can dream...

Re: Rayman Legends
Oh yes please, and online too!
I would love to play online 3D Rayman CO-OP game.
Ubisoft, please do it.

Re: Rayman Legends
I want a Dracula's World DLC.
Re: Rayman Legends
Me too, and hopefully they will make DLC before 2014.

Seems like a suitable candidate.sonicbrawler182 wrote:Agreed. Though, UbiArt is technically a 3D engine. So who knows, maybe we will get a Rayman equivalent to Super Mario 3D World now!
