< has found the sensitivity data for <'s Dayton UMM-6 mic on the original calibration file, so compared to the simple external Radio Shack SPL meter, it shows 2dB higher. Though < isn't sure how well calibrated the Radio Shack meter is anyway, since < has full calibration on the Dayton mic, even for the frequency response range.

The calibration is especially critical for accurately measuring bass response, even the infrasonic frequencies the system can output. Here's the water fall and R.E.W.'s SPL meter from Curtain Shaker - Bass From Hell Vol. 1 playing on the system.

The bass line focuses on 10Hz and 13Hz. :bad: :hinhin: <'s bedroom floor, the doors, sofa, water bottles, cables certainly can shake from the output. Just think, < wants to add four 21" Incriminator Audio Judge subwoofers to the mix with a couple of dual opposed sealed subwoofer enclosures, on top of the four 18" Dayton RSS460HO dual opposed enclosures < already has. Also, < wasn't pushing the system to the absolute fullest, but < wasn't far off.
