I'll join in my applause 'til my wrists liquefy, such is the nature of Rayman Canon.

Re: Rayman Legends
Really fucking glad to hear the PS4/XB1 versions of RL will ACTUALLY have some god damn new features, I was thinking this was just an incredibly lazy port.
From what I've gathered: "On Xbox One and PlayStation 4, you’ll find new playable characters to unlock in the Heroes Gallery. On Xbox One, there are two characters directly inspired by Far Cry 3’s famous villain: Vaas! Ray Vass and Far Glob are two bizarre heroes dressed as this famous psychotic pirate. Also on Xbox One, players will have the opportunity to play Splinter Ray, a Sam Fisher-inspired hero."
Interesting....

Re: Rayman Legends
Well, last I heard, the differences are incredibly minor, and not worth re-buying over. Unless more news has surfaced.

Re: Rayman Legends
And on the ps4 version: "On PS4, you’ll get to play Assassin Ray, a hero inspired by Edward Kenway from Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag.
Also, using their Uplay points players will be able to buy the outrageous playable hero, Funky Ray."
Wait a second... didn't we already get Assassin Ray and Funky Ray?
Oh and I'm sure this last one will get a LOT of people playing Legends endlessly: "Finally, players have the possibility to be awarded an exclusive VIP hero called Champion Ray (along with VIP status visible on the leaderboards). Champion Ray can be unlocked by the most active and highest-ranked players in the Online Challenges, as well as through active participation and involvement in the Rayman Legends community."

Re: Rayman Legends
You forgot to mention that the Xbox One version has ten extra "challenges". It's probably going to be like Murfy's Challenges in the Vita version, except without Murfy, due to, you know, no touchscreen. The Xbox One also has the Vaas costumes, while the PS4 version only has touch screen functions.
Pretty odd that the Xbox One is getting the superior version.

Re: Rayman Legends
I think people who will get the PS4 or Xbox One version are wasting there money upgrading, basically, its pretty much the same exact game just a couple of updates. If I were somebody, I wouldn't spend 40.00 to get the same game, just with like 2 or 3 updates.

Re: Rayman Legends
We did get these before, though they weren't universal. Assassin Ray was a PS3 pre-order bonus (I could be wrong though). Funky Ray was Wii U exclusive, and only accessible if you had a save file of the Challenges App.Assassin Ray and Funky Ray?
And meh, I don't need Champion Ray. My Astro Gaming headset is enough of a certificate to prove my dedication to the Rayman Legends community!

This description of Rayomz suggests that there is more than one limbless person.

Re: Rayman Legends
There's nothing there that suggests that Rayomz isn't Rayman either. If there is, then please, highlight it for me.Cometcourse64 wrote:

Re: Rayman Legends
Even if Rayomz turns out to actually be Rayman, which is quite possible, it still sort of suggests that there are other members of the species. As if the descriptor at least believes that Rayomz is just another one of Rayman's kind.
Re: Rayman Legends
I still believe Rayomz is another guy.Having the same hair doesn't make you the same person with someone. Most of the Globox' children look the same, but aren't the same.Plus,I don't think Rayman would go that crazy to throw his clothes away and run naked through the Glade.
Re: Rayman Legends
Are you sure about that, TFDs39, are you sure?TFDs39 wrote:Plus,I don't think Rayman would go that crazy to throw his clothes away and run naked through the Glade.
But yeah, I see what you mean.

He was crazy enough to do this:TFDs39 wrote:Plus,I don't think Rayman would go that crazy to throw his clothes away and run naked through the Glade.
Re: Rayman Legends
Dressing as a granny in face of the raving rabbids is a thing, but going naked in the face of your friends that still have at least half of mind is another story.

Re: Rayman Legends
Maybe Rayman just wanted to get a little closer to nature.
Re: Rayman Legends
They were kidnaped, imprisoned and tortured by the rabbids and you think the granny costume was the only thing they had in mind in those moments.
Re: Rayman Legends
I fully agree with this.TFDs39 wrote:I still believe Rayomz is another guy.Having the same hair doesn't make you the same person with someone. Most of the Globox' children look the same, but aren't the same.Plus,I don't think Rayman would go that crazy to throw his clothes away and run naked through the Glade.
