I didn't say anything against it, all I said was that the free Jungle Run app was exclusive to iDevices, if you insist on extrapolating that as a negative statement to iOS, then so be it.
I don't hold any negativity towards iDevices, my preferences merely lie with Android.

Obviously I didn't notice it's i-only because I was working and moping over the fact that I don't even have ANY smartphone and my bf's one can't even run it.

A good gift no? Pity its only for iOS devices.

No, rayman origins is not a prequel. I thought it was; and I believe the original intention of it was to be a prequel, but sadly they decided to change it.

Yes, it was meant to be a prequel at first. Even has a trailer of Rayman's origins (pun intended). The game itself might not be a prequel anymore but I think most of us count that trailer as canon since the same idea was written in the game's manual.

Indeed. Although I still don't quite understand what was the need of changing everything in the very last hour, including story, and the need of making the universe dumb. To guarantee sellings? Ironically the game is very well received by non-fans of Rayman and not quite well received by the Rayman fans.

The game's manual about Rayman's origin is slightly different from the trailer. Rayman is created with lums not with moonbeams.

Have you thought that what Betilla has between her hands in the beginning of the trailer might be fused Lums?

Conjured from the magnificent moonbeams of the second summer solstice, woven together by us, the nymphs
moonbeams not lums. That's why I don't count the trailer as canon.
Plus I prefer to think that Rayman was created with his Rayman 1 design.

I'd say the concept is roughly the same. Should it matter what ingredients the Nymphs used? For all we know, they may have used moonbeams as the main ingredient to "weave" the lums together.

Did you even read what I wrote? What if its moonbeams and Lums blended together? It could be Lums exposed to patterns of light.

no big deals, it's just my headcanon..
But you're right both stories share the idea that Rayman has been created by the nymphs to fight the evil.

Also... didn't the nymphs use a sack of lums to create Rayman? a group of Zombie Chickens distracted the nymphs and made a bunch of lums get lost, leaving Rayman with no limbs. That's canon.
Nobody really cares about personal headcanons.... in my headcanon Globox can be a homosexual mormon with fetichism for hairy canadian lumberjacks, but in the actual game he isn't, so... there's no point.

I thought perhaps "moon beams" were another name for silver lums as they were "woven together" by the nymphs in which; fairies can only create silver lums. Maybe that also explains why Rayman can only absorb silver lums too.... or not just a theory I'm satisfied with.
