Rayman Pirate-Community

I like how we're talking more about Rayman's amiibo then the more important stuff I can just imagine Rayfist shaking his head at us, haha.

I know I should have done this last month, but here's some things I am planning

- Rayman's moveset, duh. It will also include death, shield breaking, and splat screen animation concepts.

- Stages for both Wii U and 3DS. They're basically side-scrolling stages, only difference is the backgrounds. Wii U version gets Glade of Dreams (Legends) and the 3DS version gets Glade of Dreams (Origins). I'm not being biased, I'm going by the games listed on Rayman's trophies.

- Two Mii costumes based on Barbara and Globox. The Barbara Mii costume is exclusively for the Mii Swordfighter and the Globox Mii costume is exclusively for the Mii Brawler.

- A Betilla assist trophy. If a player happens to activate an assist trophy with Betilla, the player's attack and speed stats are increased for awhile.

And that's all I got for now. If you guys have any suggestions/feedback, I will be glad to hear.

What exactly are you planning on doing with all of these conjectured assets?

I dunno.

These would have been way more useful to generate hype and persuade people to vote for Smash during the Ballot run, but seeing as I have no track of time this is now obsolete. So now, I'm just gonna take a shot in the dark and hopefully the devs of both Rayman and/or Smash Bros. see it. You know just to give them an idea. It's a very bold move and probably a waste of time, but who says I can't try?

It's 4th of October in all the world (I think) and the ballot is still opened.

Must watch!

Nope, no news yet, we still don't have the results of the ballot .

RogersBase posted a tweet (this guy was at Nintendo before) where he said he knew the next DLC contents, he said it was a first party character, so basically it isn't Rayman
(he also said it wasn't Shovel Knight, Shantae and Wolf)

Well, there won't be just one more character. So there is still chance for Rayman.

As for characters, even if only 3 slots are hidden for now, I think that if demand continues to grow, Sakurai will keep adding more characters as time passes. I mean, everybody gets something. Fans get characters, he gets money.

Except that NX dev kits are reportedly sent to the industry and that the WiiU is subsequently dead.

In my personal opinion, NX is not going to be Wii U replacement but rather a system for people who are tablet gamers.

According to recent rumors, Inkling is getting in as DLC, but not as part of the ballot. So ease your worries.
