Perks of the preorder, mate. We have a concept artbook that displays such scenes.

The artbook? It's in there?
Blimey, you'd think I'd have noticed that.
Methinks a reread is in order.

Double post.
If anyone owns a Windows Tablet or PC running Windows 8, you'll be glad to know that Rayman Jungle Run is now available to purchase.

Now on Windows Phone?
Does anybody here own a Windows Phone?

Since this is on the Windows store will this mean it'll work on Windows 8? If so that'd be pretty great.

Seems like I misread it, it's for Windows Store, not Phone.
Consequently, Windows RT and 8 users, you are able to purchase it: http://apps.microsoft.com/windows/en-US ... 11076cf6fc

Just want to let everyone know I played it on Windows 8! Was going to record gameplay for youtube, but it seems fraps doesn't work with the games downloaded from the Windows 8 store... hm...

edit: On a side note I really love some of the new atmospheres Jungle Run delivers, would have been nice to see these in Rayman Origins.

Aye, I completely agree on the atmosphere portion. Jungle Run had a lot more of that good surrealistic-environment feel, especially in the backgrounds.

It is true, in that game they added more Raymanish atmosphere in the levels.

I plan to do a walkthrough if I ever get an Android tablet. :)

Funny enough I only heard about that program a few weeks ago, but I didn't manage to play the game. It was crashing in the UbiArt logo.

I actually kind of planning on doing a walkthrough for it once I get fraps working on it, but if you want to do it, go ahead.

But are you using the said BlueStacks program too? If yes, I would love to have a workable RJR game.

No I am using it from the Windows 8 store (purchased it), it's all fully workable and looks pretty much nearly as good as RO it's self.
As I said before, recording won't work for me.

But do you own Windows 8, or people aren't forced to have it to run the game? The OS I have is Windows 7.

EDIT: I installed BlueStacks. The problem is that the app runs slow on it. I guess I need to wait for the tablet.

Metro Apps are exclusive to Windows 8 and RT, we who stay with 7 can't play Jungle Run, and must stick with Bluestacks.

Yes, how else would I play it? Its running full speed on here, if I can figure out how to record it, I'll do a walkthrough.
Unfortunately 8 is the only os which you can buy from the windows store exclusively on Windows 8, therefore (without bluestacks) it'll only play on 8

Apparently the digital PC version of Rayman Origins is on sales in STEAM, for about 5€ for a very limited period of time. I thought this could interest anybody in here.
