I saw Toy Story 3 last week, and then I saw it again two days later

Seriously, I may not watch a lot of movies, but this has got to be the best film I've ever seen, and it's about toys. :)

The Emperor's New Groove is a hilarious movie, . But I got quite disappointed when I saw the sequel, it wasn't the same thing.

I just saw Toy Story 3 (actually a whole week ago?) and I can say, it's better than 1 and 2 and is one of my favorite animated movies of all time. It was two hours of amazing. :)

Buzz turns Mexican at one point, and Ken+Barbie are hilarious.

Being as masochistic as I am I just sat and watched New Moon and man it was almost as boring as the first one. Also WTF at a Thom Yorke [from Radiohead] song playing during a chase scene between one of the werewolves and the ginger vampire?

You think so? I think it was even worse. The third one is the best one so far, if the word "best" is appropriate to use for such a horrible film series.

I watched Shutter Island the other day. That is a very good movie, not what I was expecting though.

The last movie I saw was "How to train your Dragon", which was kinda funny. :D

Next monday I'll go to see with some friends "Shrek 4" ... Have someone watched it? It's worth watching or not? The trailer didn't convince me, but anyway, it's more to hang out with friends. XD

But anyway, I'm more a big fan of disaster movies. I discovered Apocalypse 10.5 but...so-so, it doesn't beat the graphics of 2012. (I DON'T believe at it, I just like the movie. I just got dissapointed that most of the actions are shown in the trailers. :/ after it's all a lovey-dovey story. I'd rather watch Titanic instead...)

Yes, I did. ^^ As I will do when I'll see Shrek 4. (If I remind well it's in 3D as well.)

I say almost as boring because the only bit I found entertaining was when Bella slapped one of of Jacob's "pack" members. Fuck knows how Breaking Dawn will turn out.

Watched Cassandra's Dream (Woody Allen) and When You're Strange (and Sixth Sense again, but that's like the sixth time...).

Just the other week I saw Toy Story 3. It was fantastic. Great story, plenty of character development, funny lines, and a perfect end to the trilogy.

Unfortunately, last night I would see one of the worst abominations to ever exist.

I am talking, of course, about The Last Airbender.

http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/bt/aj/ ... gry-review

I've only heard review after scathing review of this film. I was hoping that it would a so-bad-it's-good movie, and being a big fan of the show, I just had to check it out.

Oh, how I wish I hadn't.

First of all, minpronunciations everywhere. Soh-ka? Ong? Ee-roh? Ah-vatar? They don't call their grandmother "Gran Gran", just "Grandma". Second, miscasting! The three protagonists, despite being clearly Asian in the show, are all white! Not to mention they're HORRIBLE! Iroh isn't fat enough, Zhao is too short, and Zuko's skin is too dark (ironically). Momo looks like a gremlin and is even more pointless than he was in the show (but at least he was entertaining in the show). But don't even get me started on Sokka's actor! HE NEVER DOES ANYTHING! The entire movie, he shows ZERO EMOTION WHATSOEVER! I'm not even kidding! Every line in the movie was poorly-delivered. And then, the effects. When Aang and Katara are waterbending, neither of them ever get wet. But you should've seen the part when Katara accidentally froze Sokka (which for some reason generated laughs from the people in the theater; idiots). It looked like something that could be easily done in PS Paint. The ice was just in front of him. It's didn't look like he was encased at all.

The movie completely rides on the fact that you've seen the show. They get to the North Pole in 45 minutes when it took them an entire season to get there in the show. By the time Princess Yue sacrifices herself to save the moon, you don't care. She had just shown up three minutes ago; why should you?

Despite having waaay too much exposition thrown everywhere, by the end of the movie, non-Avatar fans will still be clueless as to what the rules of their world are. How do they bend fire? Do they bend it out of midair, or do they need an open flame? What did Katara's water turn into ice when she bent it?

But that's not the worst part. M. Night Shamalamadingdong is planning A TRILOGY based on each of the three seasons of Avatar! I don't know if I'll be able to sit through another one of these catastrophes, and certainly not two!

Bottom line: Don't see this movie. It's not "so bad it's good"; it's so bad that it's just bad. Go see Despicable Me instead. I hear it has a 79% at Rotten Tomatoes. Just don't see this. There are so many other ways to spend your money- and time.

0.2/10

Even though I've never watched the show, that's the first thing I thought about when I saw what the movie was going to be like.

Drag Me To Hell, has anyone else seen it? Pretty good stuff!

You’re complaining about the race of the actors? But... but... that’s RACISM! :boon:
