But a simple grimace can make anyone laugh. I think the only difference is that the power creates an effect to Black Lums that start to laugh with the magical-powered grimace, to transform into Red Lums. Arrgh, I think I'm being confusing.

The post quoted was my attempt at humour, not a very good attempt clearly.
Though it is interesting to see what exactly the power of the Leptys was.

As you pass darktoons they give you the old love heart and puppy eyes instead of attempting to bite off your genitals

...you run the RRR and find nothing except for Rayman there

When you kill Reflux 2 with Leptys's power

...when you start feeling bored you take the Prison ship for a spin

You Beat Rayman 1 in one sitting while taking no damage

When Rayman already has his Golden fist in the start of the game.

...you attain unlimited Golden Lockjaw Rocket Metal Fist of Vortex.

When Rayman kills a Pirate with a small weak punch.

When Rayman Legends releases in Europe...

When Globox gives Rayman all his powers in their cell.
