I do want to see this game continued. The Picture City 3D image is simply perfect, it has got the same style and feeling from Rayman 1. Did you guys spot a "Dark Rayman" (Bad Rayman?) in the image where 3D Rayman is seen?

Damn, the game would look much better than what I was thinking in the beginning. If this was on Wii, it would sell like hot breads!

Are you talking about the pink Rayman? Doesn't really look like Bad Rayman to me.

That's why I put Dark Rayman between " ", because it doesn't look like to me either, but we also have no idea who is that character.

Pink Rayman? Looks like the third one from left on this picture anyway. They're both pink with an orange body.

These pictures are gorgeous, but i also want to see the environments of R4 in the next Rayman.

Are these pictures new or old?

They're concept drawings from 2005.

That pink Rayman looks like it should have been like a bubblegum power suit, a bit like how the goth Rayman in RRRGBA had a blowing bubblegum power. I could be wrong, but that's what I think of it.

If Rayman 4 had been finished, it would have been the first game in the main series not to be developed by Ubisoft Montpellier – something which still hasn’t happened. I wonder if Michel Ancel or any of the other key Montpellier developers were involved in any way? Maybe Phoenix’s Rayman 4 was cancelled because Montpellier decided they wanted to make a Rayman game instead?

And to be truthful, I don't feel like chewing bubblegum anymore in fear of feeling guilty.

These powers are super random, bigfoot being the worst of them all. R3's magically color changing powder-wash makes more sense than this, and I never felt they made sense in the first place.

The art is cute, but the idea is creepy as hell.

The glowing bubbles in the bottom-left corner look like Tings to me. As for the pink costume, it does indeed remind me of the bubble gum outfit.

Same here, I guess they recycled the idea later for the Gothic suit power in the GBA version.

I like most of the things about this scrapped stuff... except actually the different Raymen/costumes. It just doesn't seem to get me. Especially Gayman.

I took a look also at those costumes/powerups and i think THEY ARE AWENSOME!!! In my opinion it would be great if future Rayman games would have powerups like these. I like especially the bigfoot one.

That suit could've been a one-off kind of powerup, like Rayman's firefly fist in Rayman 1. Come to think of it the Rayman that has really big helicopter hair looks like it could've have been an evolved form of the power-up the Musician gave you in Rayman 1! Seems this "Pheonix Studio" was recycling ideas from old Rayman games.

Not sure if this counts s a 'rare' picture of not, but near the back of issue 101 of Retro Gamer there is a doodle of Globox by Michel Ancel made just for the magazine. I don't own the issue myself, just saw it while flicking though it in WHSmith.
