Hm, what is it with the XY anime and its undertones? I've already seen some pictures making fun at some other scenarios the anime shows, this just adds to it.

Hm, I still don't have the game, but this safari thing, what exactly is it?

I also have no clue what's that story of Friend Safari. I believe I'll figure out soon. I have 4 badges already.

Something about people having their own personal safari and their savegame determines their safari's type, or something. You can find three pokemon of said type and the third one is unlocked after beating the E4. Friends can visit your safari, but I don't know if you can enter your own.

I'm supposed to have sneasel and pawniard, but since I didn't beat E4 yet, I don't know what the third is.

Basically it's like the Safari Zone, only for each friend registered on your 3DS (Even those who don't own Pokemon) have a Friend Zone each with a specialist type, like how Spanex's is Dark type, and mine is Normal type. Also if someone owns a copy of X and Y they will have 2 zones. You can't however enter your own zone. Each zone has 2 pokemon each although as mentioned a 3rd is obtainable if that person beats the Pokemon League. If that doesn't sound sweet enough every Pokemon in the Friend Zone are guaranteed to have t least 2 31 IV stats, needless to say most are looking for safaris with Dittos in them much like myself.

I've never been told what Pokemon I have just that I had the normal type safari. (I have no idea either, my FC should be on this thread anyway)

Ahh, I see, that's an interesting concept indeed. Does this replace the Safari zones of old? Or are they just another feature alongside it?

Replaces the Safari Zone yes, one other difference to this is that it's free and no time limit.

I honestly would've loved these two more than their male counterparts, especially the fem Lysandre.

They look rather pale for where they're at, but nice nonetheless.

I assume that's just the art style.

I open my 3DS in the train to play, and the first Pokémon that appears in the Frost Cavern is a shiny Haunter. I captured it of course, but I was thrilled! It is the 3rd shiny I get in my entire story in the franchise.

That's super awesome! Will you evolve it into a Gengar?

i was just wondering around a ground friend safari from some random guy i added,so i could get marowaks that had thick club(which is really freaking rare),but rather then that i found something else,a shiny sandshrew,i got it and im thinking of training it.
also i found out that you could get any gen 1 and gen 6 starters 2nd evolution on friend safaries,too bad mine is just a psychic safari zone
