Well obviously, it was a grammar mistake on purpose.

Just got word from Serz that my rank needs fixing with its edges. Someone mind fixing my rank please?

Wait, what? Where did I mess up this time? I've been told the aspect ratio was bogus before, but it wasn't.

Oh, I see, you mean your Betilla. Yes, it needs cleaner edges.

I know, but I don't know how to fix that! D:

Okay: take your image of Betilla. I hope you put her on a separate layer than the rank template, else you will have to remove all the pink colours and do that. Make sure your rank template is the new form, the one with the smooth corners. Put its layer on top of your image, so it covers it. You will notice that your image pokes out at the corners. Then, select your layer with the template by CTRL or SHIFT (can't remember which) clicking the template layer's name. This will create the marching ants around your image, indicating that you've selected around the borders of the template. Switching to the Betilla layer retains this selection, so you now have the marching ants in the shape of the template's border, but your selection is on Betilla's layer. Now, using an eraser, smooth-erase your image around the rank borders carefully, such that the image never pokes out from underneath the template. Keep switching back and forth between a view of the template on top of your image and one of the image on top of the template, so you make sure to never accidentally erase your image too much. When you're done, you should have an image that nicely fits the rank template!

Or you simply select the template, go to the Betilla image with this selection, invert it, and erase your inverted selection, as it will remove everything in it, so basically everything outside of the template for the Betilla's layer. Manually erasing is so annoying...

You also keep the selection before the inversion and crop it, it works as well.

Correct me if I am wrong, as I've never taken a look at special ranks.
