Yep that was pretty revolutionary to the Sega! (wow that sounds nerdy)Master wrote:Ah, I see. Well, I guess practice makes perfect, at least Sonic 3 was kind enough to give a save feature.

It's funny, I tried to show my friend just how bad I was at hydro city.

So here's what I got done over the past college year in UDK regarding that Sonic fangame:
Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
Looks good, except for the Sonic '06 loop gravity.

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
Actually, that was a power-up called "Magnetic Shoes" that comes with Sonic GDK, that I was showing off. Normally, you can't stick to walls and ceilings like that, and you will fall off if you don't go fast enough. Magnetic Shoes just let you walk around curved surfaces without gravity effecting you.RibShark wrote:Looks good, except for the Sonic '06 loop gravity.

Not bad, I also liked the music choice.

So, this was leaked.

Is that some new character? Damn, I hate new Sonic characters a lot.

Hmm, looks a little bit like Marine from Rush Adventure, barring the weird head shape.

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
Mike Pollock pretty much confirmed that it's NOT Marine the Raccoon.
Also, I don't know if it's just me, but Knuckles looks kind of different.

Maybe it's the way he's posed, his arms aren't quite as prominent.
As for Marine, I see, guess time will tell then.

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
If that turnes out to be Marine, I am going to hate the show automatically. I hate that character so much. Thankfully when you play game, the gameplay can overlook her awefulness, but when it comes to Cartoon where characters play important part, that is different case.
PLEASE whoever this character is, scrap it. No Sonic fan wants this.

Maybe they'll change her personality a bit. They're doing the same with Amy, making her more independent.OldClassicGamer wrote:If that turnes out to be Marine, I am going to hate the show automatically. I hate that character so much. Meh, while part of me can see where you're coming from, I'd wait until we learn a little more before releasing the fires of revilement.

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
Speak for yourself. Marine had an interesting character development over the course of Rush Adventure. She was annoying, but she was supposed to be. By the end of the game, she learns to be more responsible and to stop doing everything based on her gut instinct, and to actually listen to what others have to say.OldClassicGamer wrote:If that turnes out to be Marine, I am going to hate the show automatically. If they brought Marine back for Boom, I really wouldn't mind.
Also, it's kinda stupid to automatically hate characters based on them being "new". Blaze is one of the best portrayed characters in the series, yet she is relatively new. And Chip was a really well written character too, and his relationship with Sonic was done exceptionally well.
