That'd be dandy indeed, given how much of a split we've got on that matter.

Right then, so R4 development, Raymesis/Dark Rayman, UbiArt's status as open source, and so on and so forth, best get compiling, for the time is almost upon us.

How about asking Obsidian to make a full fledged Rayman RPG. They have the rights to the "Stick of Truth" and that game is awesome.

I don't think Montpellier would be able to answer such a request, they're the dev studio, not the bigwigs in charge.

And Globox's species name, and the connection between RO Magician and R1 Magician.

I'll be at work but I'll try to attend if I'm not in a meeting. As for the old questions, maybe I can find them in my PMs, but that's very unlikely. I'll keep you guys updated.

I won't be present at the twitch but please guys share up the questions and answers here later (and do the right questions). Maybe any of you could record the desktop screen with both the chatroom's questions and the video with the crew; this would be nice to archive you know.

I might not be home in time for the Q&A so if anyone wants to ask my questions on my behalf, be my guest ;)

Recording it for sure. If others from RPC Skype group agree, Skype call could also be made and then that could be one awesome video :D

We'll need to take notes of any important or interesting responses also, I'll keep up as much as I can on my end, but I think it'd be best if all RPC attendees kept notepad or a word processor open and jot stuff down.

As for Skype, I don't think chatting over a chat seems apt, better to listen to commentary than give some on top, no? Maybe something afterwards, if anything of significant interest is unearthed, but either ways, not during.

To all those attending the livestream: don't post links to anything, or you'll be muted for 10 minutes!

Here's my list of questions that have been mentioned, that I've thought of and that were in the old interview topic:
  • A lot of Rayman games got scrapped: the SNES version of Rayman 1, the 2D version of Rayman 2, the amazing Rayman 4 prototype... we fans would love to see or hear more about those games. Do you think it might be possible to release them somehow, maybe including them as bonus material in future Rayman games?
  • The UbiART framework looks very interesting. Do you still have plans to release it to the public?
  • Is the Magician in Rayman Origins and Legends the same person as the one on Rayman 1?
  • What is the name of Globox's species, if it has one?
  • What is the future for Rayman: will you keep making 2D games like Rayman Origins and Legends, or will we see another 3D title?
  • Do you think we will ever see characters like Ly and Clark again?
  • The magical atmosphere in Rayman 2 is considered to be the most unique aspect in Rayman 2 and Rayman 3, and it's very much beloved by the fans. Do you think it will make another appearance, maybe in the next title in the Rayman series?
  • Do you sometimes browse the internet and look at all the Rayman fan art, the fan music and even fan games? -> Answered: Yes!!!! :D
  • Rayman Pirate-Community is undoubtedly the biggest Rayman community on the internet. Do you secretly have an account? :P
  • In the Gamecube version of Rayman 3, there was a minigame called "2D Nightmare". Although we've looked for a way to unlock it for a long time, we haven't found any. Is there a genuine way to unlock it? If so, can you tell us more?
  • Are you now working on Beyond Good & Evil 2 again? We'll see more at E3, right? Right? :D

Yeah, it wasn't very important. In short, it was a very weird process to test the game as they had to burn it into a chip (inside the cartridge I presume) every time. It was pretty painful and that's one of the reasons why he wants to move back to 3D again (Rayman Origins and Legends remind him of that time).
