- I've got my English exam tomorrow. I'm not worried because English is an all A subject for me, but I'm not too thrilled about having to write two essays and answers 50 questions with a time limit.

+ California droughts. I mean, it's fucking terrible, but here's the catch: It's affecting Americans, members of the western society. We're shitty, spoiled people who gasp when the history textbook goes "slavery and imperialism" yet we can live with sweatshops because we just like those Nike shorts so much. Sad as it is, when climate change affects western society, that's when people start to take it seriously. It's like someone getting cancer and suddenly jokes about the disease aren't funny anymore: Right now, a bit of a climate cancer might be exactly what we need to stimulate real demand for change. The backlash against the homophobic Indiana law was great, now let's do it again the next time some shitty republican tries to disprove basic human reasoning by going "bah, snowballs!".

- But seriously though, people don't realise how intense this drought is. A 25% cut on water usage, that's something I didn't expect to see before my midlife crisis.
