Gagaman wrote:Not sure if this counts s a 'rare' picture of not, but near the back of issue 101 of Retro Gamer there is a doodle of Globox by Michel Ancel made just for the magazine. I don't own the issue myself, just saw it while flicking though it in WHSmith.
Sounds interesting, would it be possible for you to get a picture for us? Though not having the issue, is there another way you could get it? Hope it's not a bother, it sounds interesting.

Along the top of that image is a row of depictions of Rayman in different form... they're all great!Soap Rayman, Raymime, Bubblegum Rayman, Invisible Rayman, Flowerhair Rayman, Ghost Ray, Tough Ray, Cave Ray and the Spotlight Ray, with said Rayman logo to shine up into the skies of Rayrkham City. :P
This is amazing. Mind = Blown. No, no, I can do better. Mind = Infinity / 0. There.

I don't know if this has been posted before, and it's nowhere near as amazing as the Rayman 4 images that were found some time ago (why didn't I see this until now?), but I found one more piece of artwork that was done for the Fortress of Sand in Rayman 4 - on the same blog Spiral posted a while ago.

A lighthouse with lums at the top.

That aside, man would I have been happy with this Rayman 4. This looked so much better than Rayman Origins. :(

"The light tower" Quite an interesting concept, for what already could have been an interesting/amazing game. :mryellow:

Thanks for sharing that Droolie, we had no idea of the existence of the picture either.

But as I said before, with the new leaked images of the canceled Rayman 4 I regret even more for the canceling of the project. This would be THE Rayman Origins we wanted to see.

It looks like it would have been great artistically, but who knows whether the gameplay would have been any good? Phoenix Interactive are not a known quantity. At least with Michel Ancel and Ubisoft Montpellier, we know we’re going to get a quality game, even if it’s not quite what we would have chosen.

Edit: I just noticed that there’s a hammock outside the Light Tower, hanging from a nearby palm tree. Could this be related to the opening sequence of R1?

Some rare crap up on ebay: http://global.ebay.com/Atari-Jaguar-RAY ... 19743/item
A rayman flyer, I have never ever seen this before anywhere, if it's already been discovered let me know
Last thing that confuses me: http://global.ebay.com/Rayman-2-Collect ... 11795/item
Rayman 2 collector? Anyone else have any clues? I know of course about the R1 collector, and the france version, but this... is beyond me.

Probably, considering a heavy portion of the game was based off of it.

I strained as hard as I could to read that, and all I could muster was something ridiculously stupid like "The cautious Rayman 2 PC; the grand whores," I don't know, that's just what it looks like. Maybe an actual French speaker would be able to interpret the blurriness better.

Ah so they are rare, somebody should buy them before they are gone!

EDIT: DSsbfdagfdipagfduofdgasdiogfdsuioasgfdsd
I found the rayman sitting on a plum toy at macdonalds on ebay for 5 euros... which in U.S. is around 6.00$ FOR FUCKING REALZ, I'm emailing this woman now to see if I can pay her in US dollars, THIS IS INCREDIBLE

I actually gave 10€ for the MacDonalds Globox due to its rarity at the time I bought it. The seller wasn't selling the full collection, only by individual figures.

We’ve seen that flyer on eBay before; I think Stacey tried to buy it but got outbid. It might even be the same one.

By the way, I found a much larger version of the flyer’s artwork thanks to Google Images’s dizzyingly useful new ‘search by image’ feature. I cannot overstate how handy that thing is for finding rare images like this.

I'm not a 'fan' of posters/flyers but this one is surprisingly awesome, even if I do say so.

Thanks Spiral, I already saved the picture file. The only thing it sucks is the watermark.

Stace, are you still interested in the flyer? :P

She responded to me: "Hi, I am really sorry for you, but I 've just sent it to USA, a little american boy was found of this one too!
I hope you will find another one."
Valérie
Little american boys know the france ebay trick? Well shit. Ah well, I hope the little boy takes good care of it, and doesn't chew on it or anything like that >.>
Well, I guess I'll just have to keep in search. :pfff:

Edit: Guys... guys.... GUUUUUUUUUUYYYYYYYYYYYYYZZZZZZZZZ
I found the R3 collector on ebay for 11 bucks. I will be getting this soon!
