Great, now thinking about those color-changing pencils has me thinking this. But it's ok, I like this tune.

The pencils seem to change colours on all levels if you walk until they're a bit off screen and go back. It's weird how they change though like that means the game is just selecting colours at random as you play

Yup that's pretty much what I thought too when I first saw them. This is how I felt upon trying to get on them...
