Honestly though I was wondering what Rayman looked like with limbs, and now I've seen it I've been like, "holy shit". And it looks like they had sleeves too, I guess they were purple too.

I think I've already seen a non-limbless Rayman actually; he was dressed in red Christmas outfit I think.

The limbs really don't suit him at all, but that's probably because I'm used to what he's like now...

With limbs, he reminds me of a lot of "edgy" cartoon mascots from the early 90s, so it was a good move to take them off. Just comes to show that the Playstation, Saturn and Jaguar just weren't that powerful after all even at the time.

I should imagine that it would take a good chunk of weight off of him though, in a human almost half of that is in the legs.

At first I thought they were talking about a girl. I had always pronounced his name "Micheal An-cell".

Yeah, Michel does sound like a girl's name. Perhaps the French are just very womanly.

A girl's name would be 'Michelle', with almost the same pronunciation as 'Michel'.

This is thing I don't like about French names. Couldn't it be like in Polish or Italian? (Oops, I forgot about Andrea.)

French is a Romantic language whereas English is Germanic. So yeah, a lot of French male names do sound girly.

You wanted to say ROMANIC, right? What the hell is romantic in "shatam" (je t'aime)? Which should be romantic in double way, I think? Also note that Italian is Romanic too, and Polish is Slavic one.

And you're right there, it's first logical explanation why does game character jump too high and too long.

They spelt it as Romantic in all of our school atlases. 0.o

I can call Russian the most romantic language I heard about - it uses nice selection of vowels and... the rest.

All of our text books at school were printed in the 80's. So yeah.

...you're lucky. In our schools, program changes almost every year so you can't use old book.

And in my school, their program changes EVERY year, and we don't get new books until March ( yeah, that's true, I got one of my books on Friday! ). I really love my school's organization. XD
