Should the age be lowered when it comes to being arrested for crimes? It seems a lot of teens commit crimes all the time and pretty much. There was even a recent one where a bunch of them harassed an Indian guy on video and humiliated them while torturing them. They will get away with this because they are young with the current system for example.

What, completely? I thought there was just less severe punishment for teens. Yet somehow vulnerable kids manipulated into the drug industry get serious lifelong punishments.

In Canada the age for being arrested is 12. Is the age higher in Europe??

I voted for yes, but it depends on the crime. Some things deserve a lifelong prison sentence no matter the age, and others shouldn’t be an issue until you’re much older.

Personally with the stuff that goes on around the area that I'm seeing all the time, I definitely feel like it should. I think people are taking advantage of the current system, knowing full well that they can't get in trouble. This even leads to kids delivering drugs or massive gangs of teens committing crimes, including harassing an innocent foreign person who was only trying to earn a living. The fact they can abuse the system and get away with it is why nothing changes, so I will vote that it should be lowered.

I also understand that what Greengoop said is relevant, that it depends on the crime, however, when mass gangs of teens are harassing and even terrorising people, along with openly selling drugs in the streets, those are definitely things that should not be sliding.
