It sounds like a DOS or Mega Drive rendition of "Rule Britannia," but that doesn't really give me any clues as to what it could be from. So, another complete stab in the dark from me...the first Civilisation game?

That being said, Master's assessment is correct : it is Rule Britannia from a game in the DOS era. It is so british, I can only signify that it would be played inside Castle British for Lord British. The answer was therefore Ultima 6.

Since Master was orbiting around the answer, I will allow him priority on the new blind test. Master gets a try before anyone else.

Comparing the videogame gameplay, I'm going to guess Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.

Keiji Inafune used to be a Capcom guy, I'd have also said Minish Cap (and I suspect Reese's right), but I'll try for the Oracle of Seasons/Ages games as a punt.
