You finally got what? If you mean 30.000 points in FC then congratulations. Did you get any of the Matuvus in combo?

Yeah, I finally got the maximum score in DOTK! It took me four full days of Lum conversions, but I made it.

Ok, you can actually get the one in the next part in combo as well. When you enter this next part you notice a Hoodblaster behind a shield at the ground floor level. Kill him and you will get the Vortex. You can get the Matuvu on the wall above in combo after the Hoodblaster and with this powerup. Later on you can see if you can include other thing in the combo to make the Matuvu count more than just 500 points in combo.

Took a couple of days off.

I removed the Kleaneasy thread because after exchanging several 'PT's with Kleaneasy I found that the forum's management isn't entirely her fault, and that she doesn't deserve such a harsh deal of shit just for her banning. Turns out the backup/restoring problem is actually down to the forum managers not administrators ie the Groupee people. It is those people that should be on the wall stuffed.

During the past six hacks we've had I must have lost around 7000 posts too, though to be honest I'm far more concerned about lost content. The old solutions Block produced waaay back in 2003 would be so interesting to reread. Some of these topics can be found using the Wayback machine, but only one page can be viewed out of about 20. Ah well eh.

Anyway moving away from the subject of RaymanZone..

MandM, congratulations! That's truly a magnificent score. Such a shame you can't quite bottle that 110k. Do you stand on the raised platform when converting the six Lums? I must give this level a shot.

Well, we'll aim our frustration at these "managers" then. It is beyond my understanding they didn't learn from their mistakes from the first hacking. They should as a minimum have made sure back-up was taken of all posts every day. They should be tarred and feathered for this negligence. A pox on them!

The lost posts are devastating. How and where do you get this Wayback?

I do indeed stand on this platform. And by the way, I once again took a look at this secret room problem. This time I tried something new. I looked carefully around the room in part 2. It's a mighty big room and perhaps there could be a hidden switch or something that when activated allowed us access to the secret room in part 3. Didn't find anything though, but it could be worth another look.

The H&T forum can be found here. It shows the forum at several different stages during RaymanZone's existence. Really reminds me of how good-looking RaymanZone was..

About the secret room... perhaps it's not activated by any sort of switch or mechanism? The secret in part 4 TTOTL seemingly opens only if you've got 440k plus as a total score. Maybe in TDOTK you also have to reach a certain amount of points or something? Or maybe you have to hit Hoodlums in a certain way? I might investigate some of these ideas this evening when I play.

It's cool to see this old lay-out. Never seen that before. When I started it had turned into various shades of purple. I do recognize some of the names and I had a great urge to click on the links to read the posts.

I have tried get to part 3 with all kinds of scores - high, low and in between. The switch idea was only due to lack of better ideas. As for scoring, I usually have a wee bit more than 29.500 points after part 2. Could it be that you need 30.000 points after part 2 to be able to open it? It's a nice round number, but I don't know how to get that much points. Let me know if you come up with something.

Hmm, I'm in part 2 but I can't find anything interesting. It's such a massive room but most of it is just desolate dark space.

And I would doubt 30k after part 2 would be the requirement. I'm sure Ubisoft never expected us to bypass the Knaaren in the corridor in part 1, let alone play the two parts more-than-perfectly. Bahhhh.

Couldn't you just imagine those large rocks moving to reveal a secret though? I'm not entirely convinced this was a Ubisoft error just yet.

Have you tried hitting some of the symbols on the wall in part 3? There might be a chance that hitting the right thing/things opens a door somewhere.

All indications point to the existence of a secret room in part 3. No doubt about that. The high scoreline needed to reach 100%, the lone Knaaren walking a path, that otherwise is never used, and seemingly guarding something behind the wall. Part 2 was a long shot. I have always felt there would be something behind one of all those doors that are in part 3. I have even used the Shock Rockets to try to hit anything that could open such a door, but so far nothing. Maybe the developers actually forgot to put the one thing that opens the door to the secret room into the game?

At the moment I'm back in LS. I'll split it in into to stages. First of all I'll try to exceed 43.000 points so my total score will pass 853.000 points. Then I'll go for the maximum score. The Shoe is just so frustrating. I did pass part 1 of the first stage though and now I'm really struggling with the ten crowns in part 2. Not my favourite level.

Edit: I finally managed those darned crowns and finished LS with 43.020 points. My total is now 853.011 points.

Just letting you know that I'm gonna put my name on the hall of fame when I beat Rayman 3. I'm currently up to the Summit and I'm at the 240,000 mark.

The reason that I got 40000 points in TLS is that ?hitted ? the shoe 3 times.
Then I zoomed in for the matuvu and then get the gem.
