It happens, let the conversation flow, if it gets way out of hand, the mods are here to put things straight.

No, what I mean is, every time I come into this topic, I literally forget it's the Origins topic. I just thought that was funny.

Ah, ok.
Hm, that could be a good thing though, newer members tend to demand that the intended topic be stuck to, it's nice to see that you value the conversation more than being limited to a topic which conversation can be burnt out upon. Going off-topic is perfectly fine if there's interesting discussion to be had.

It could be because new members are used to more strict rules from other forum sites they are also on, I mean I was quite surprised swearing is allowed here. Many forum admins ban for posts like that even when they are clearly a joke. While I do not swear (not on RPC at least), I like the fact that it is not forbidden like on many other forum sites.

Nah, I'm not what you'd ever call a member of the "forum police". I'm actually really OK with off-topic discussion, as long as there is a clear link back to the original topic matter (which there is in this case). As you said, no need to disrupt the flow so long as it's relatively calm and orderly.

In fact, when I first joined the other forum I'm on about 3 years ago, I got chewed on by some users for going a bit off-topic at times. Some of the other users could not stand even the slightest hint of going off-topic.

Oh yeah the first couple of months I've been here I was shocked with members swearing. But I got used to it.

I don't swear much myself, but I don't mind the swearing here. Gives the place a less uptight feel.

This is the most free forum I know. I don't like to alter the way I write something so I continue to do it on another place and as a result I've seen entire pages of my posts's deleted and have gotten numerous warnings. But then again the staff is pretty shit and the owner doesn't seem to realise that. I like that Humch lets have a say in who should moderate because a lot of forums tend to have awful people for it.

I can underline that and say it is true. I've frequented forums before (who I will not say names either) that I really don't know how were the criteriums (if there were any) to pick certain moderators that didn't have a minimum potential for that role.

I got warned once one one place because I used word "bitching" in context: "bitching about something"
What the hell? I bet they would do same if I said "damn", "hell", "shit" or "ass"

Yeah, it sounds like the name of a pre-school tv show villain.
And he looks like the stranger kids are warned about in those 'stranger danger' educational shorts.

Oh my god, that is EXACTLY what he reminded me of. It's been bothering me for quite a while.
Actually, he looks more like Darkwing Duck.

Anyone here agrees?
So we should remove grounded theories from the Wiki, even when it's stated to only be hypothetical due to a lack of clarity? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. A Wiki is a source of collective knowledge, and where there is none, we provide very plausible and likely intended speculation as to what they truth may be. This is the same for every single Wikipedia article that speaks about a topic science hasn't mastered yet.

Fuck Raywiki and its made up theories, then.

Shapeshifting my balls. Or what? is that shapeshifting and clonation at the same time?... right.
