Re: Rayman Origins
I enjoy it too, I find it original.
Re: Rayman Origins
I mean sure it's not a proper intro but I can say it's still a pretty good intro for Origins.

I would even care to disagree there, but I don't really feel like going into all that.sonicbrawler182 wrote:OK, let me rephrase that - it's a masterpiece in silly, comical animation.Adsolution wrote:It's a fine opening I guess, but really? I didn't say it was so good because it has the principles of animation in place, but because they are executed SO well.

Sergio, I rarely ever have any reason to argue personal taste. This isn't an exception.

Re: Rayman Origins
I'll just repeat what I always say - I don't need Rayman's cutscenes to be deep cinematic experiences to find them masterpieces. I really like the cinematic experience of Rayman 2, and Rayman 3 too, but I have never thought the former was deep, like most others seem to claim.Adsolution wrote:I would even care to disagree there, but I don't really feel like going into all that.sonicbrawler182 wrote:OK, let me rephrase that - it's a masterpiece in silly, comical animation.Adsolution wrote:It's a fine opening I guess, but really? I'm aware of that, given that it's what I quoted. I said that I disagree with this even being a masterful representation of humourous animation.

Ahah, yup. Since I'd been typing on an iPhone for the last two years, it's taking me a bit to get accustomed to the android keyboard, where the period key is to the right of the spacebar.

Ah yes, your Nexus 4, let us know your thoughts on it sometime.
Have you tried using the swiping technique on the keyboard? It works quite well in practice, not perfect, but still pretty good.

sonicbrawler, your signature is too much big. Please make it smaller like before. The forum's rules tell you what's the maximum size allowed.

Re: Rayman Origins
I kinda just assumed that the actual character limit was put there to prevent signatures from being too big, and I made sure to re-size things so that they wouldn't appear too big on my screen, at least (since that's the only one I CAN see). I use a bog standard laptop screen, not some 40 inch monitor or anything. So I assumed if it didn't look too big on mine, it'd be fine.Haruka wrote:sonicbrawler, your signature is too much big. Though I did size it down to more than half it's previous size. Adsolution asked me to as well, and I did remember he/she uses an Android phone sometimes. Normally, I wouldn't let that effect anything, since I visited this site on my Android phone and it was an objectively slow and unpleasant experience, and every sig was too big to me. I never considered asking anyone to re-size theirs, because honestly, this site (and nearly any forum, really), is not optimised at all for mobile devices (that's not a criticism towards this site though, forums are meant for desktops/laptops, and optimising them is difficult).
But then I also remembered how I was stuck with an iPhone 3GS as my only browsing device for quite a while, and later an Android. And I couldn't really enjoy browsing most sites I visit on those phones. So consider this an act of sympathy towards anyone stuck with a mobile device.

Re: Rayman Origins
Well, we all get used to a certain kind of signature size. Here on RPC, I've generally found signatures to be on average larger than on most other forums, but still, for me, any signature that takes up more than a third of the vertical space on my 1080p monitor is too big. Besides, the Nexus 4 screen is 720p, so it's comparable to a desktop monitor to at least some degree.
Re: Rayman Origins
I'm glad RPC allows larger signatures. Half the time I have to resize or make other ones for different places because they only allow signatures that are one pixel wide.
Does bother me when people put huge thing thoughs. iambored's enormous sig always annoyed the fuck out of me.

Re: Rayman Origins
I'll admit I may have gotten a bit carried away with my sig, because the other forum I'm on only allows 100-odd characters for sigs, and doesn't support images at all. So I've kind of just been messing around and seeing what different things look like, and afterward I may try more creative things with it (that take up minimum page space).

Re: Rayman Origins
Hm, I think the sig I currently have is one of my larger 'uns, though its design is such that resizing it isn't much of an issue.

Re: Rayman Origins
There's one thing that's been bothering me when it comes to Origins. Is the mosquito in the game Bzzit, or is it just a generic mosquito?
