I always wonder about the original Origins. The concepts were always fascinating to me. Unlike others, I consider Origins and Legends my favorite Rayman games.

Apparently, Fungo is LPing this game now.
Considering the type of games he plays, mainly survival horror and the like, I never thought he would LP this. A nice surprise.

I like his commentary since it's actually interesting/funny, rather than just screaming.

This might be a weird time to bring this up, but why did the stone men in Origins get to retain their limblessness when they could have easily had limbs incorporated into their design?

Maybe they have a stone magnetism?

Perhaps so. I just found it odd since they were going with the whole thing about Rayman's limblessness being a unique feature (resulting from the nymphs chasing some chickens). They gave other old limbless characters new limbed redesigns but the stone men remained inexplicably unchanged. I can understand the Electoons being limbless, though, as they're all magical and energy and stuff, and their shape would make it harder to add good-looking limbs.

The stone men are a bit obscure. It's one of those odd leftovers from the original Rayman 1 revisited concept.

It sure doesn't. Watching all the trailers and interviews for Origins really takes me back.

Two years already? Wow... I remember how I was checking the mailbox everyday to see if the prizes were arriving.

Two years indeed, doesn't feel like it's been that long since the polarising revival of the series.

I still want that variation of the Land of the Livid Dead theme from the Around the World trailer.

Ah yes, it had a greater...spirit to it, those bells in particular really gave it an extra bit of oomph that the final "Chasing a Dream" lacked.

And that choir too! Gave me a chill once I heard it play.

Indeed, it's a big pity that incarnation of that track never saw release at all.

I still remember like it was yesterday when more awesome looking RO was announced. I was in Montenegro when it happened and I watched trailer on some dying laptop that is broken now and thankfully sold for parts and boy did internet sucked. Still, I was very happy Rayman returned.

I remember that in the public reveal in E3 2010, I wasn't with internet at home for a month so I couldn't watch live, but when in the next day I learn about the official return of Rayman, after watching the trailer I was shaking in a way I was almost fainting, and grinning a lot. I really couldn't help the emotion after such a long wait for a true return. It was really crazy.
