He was probably afraid to say something negative about it.

The real problem I find is the music really. Sure the Lums are easier to get and it's half-assed, but it's a fun lazy port to say the least. Like Rayman 3D.

I don't get how in hell Rayman 3D is even a comparison here. Aside from those seldom flipped textures which you won't notice unless you're being quite observant, it performs at a nice 60 FPS, the graphics look fine, the controls are standard and responsive; it's basically the PC version of Rayman 2 with the Isle of Doors. Nothing is changed, upgraded or downgraded. Technically, it's a perfectly good port then (aside from that very minor textures thing) which the 3DS Origins is far from.

Sadly there's also the 1000th Lum glitch, but it isn't a really bad port, at least it is by far better than the DS one...

My XPERIA Play play PS1 games natively :D

Hm, I don't think it literally is native, is it? It just emulates like the rest, in only a more official capacity, right?

A good chance for those who haven't the game yet.

The game also seems to be 50% off normal price on the Windows Store.

How about Ubi to put Rayman Fiesta Run on Windows Store since it is missing for unexplained reasons?
Then again I am pretty sure it is Microsoft's fault or something.

It does use software emulation, though it is Sony's official emulator, which is far superior to nearly every 3rd-party emulator besides XEBRA, so I believe that is what OCG was referring to.

You forgot to mention the terribly unbalanced sound volume in Rayman 3D. The speakers on my 3DS shouldn't pop, crackle, and whistle while playing a game. Overall, Rayman 3D, while lackluster, was a solid port nonetheless, unlike the abomination that is Rayman Origins on the 3DS. I've have ranted on about its horrible qualities here before. Granted, RO on 3DS is most certainly playable, but the aesthetics aren't pleasing at the slightest. And the missing content is inexcusable, the Teensies are omitted entirely and the level "Get Away" is nowhere to be seen. The only appreciable thing about this port is how well the intro and ending cinematics transitioned to the game.

How are the Teensies omitted? You mean there are no Teensies in it whatsoever? Is that even possible?

Why not? Aside from Ales Mansay, I don't see the problem. Well, except for a lot of missing characters.

Allow me to clarify, all playable Teensies are omitted. They still appear in cutscenes and Ales is still there, but you cannot play as them at all.

Oh. Ok thanks. What's the problem with that, then?
