Re: Rayman Legends
I know for sure that they were able to ship to the UK when I got my copy of the issue with the SNES Rayman stuff, so I guess the same applies here.
Re: Rayman Legends
I just hope the English version comes out 'round the same time as the French version.

Thank you for your answer, mister!Motormike wrote:Hi guys.
The book is not delayed. A few months ago my editor said to me it was going to be released around September. So here it is : October 2014. Full history of the Rayman games. And I strongly recommand to buy it directly on the Pixnlove website if you can... #Teasing
Sorry for the wait '^^ I really hope you'll like it.
In that case I'll order directly from the site when it comes out, at least thank god they accept PayPal.
I am just worried about the shipping cost to Portugal since I learnt they work with Collissimo.

I'm only two points away from the Eleventh Level of Awesomeness!
Re: Rayman Legends
Yes Pix supports worldwide shipping. A friend of mine lives in Los Angeles and he receives the books he orders without any problem.
Regarding the english version, I can't say when it's going to be released. I'm not the one doing the translation ^^ But I know for sure that it's not going to be released as the same time as the french one. Sorry guys.

Is the book very long to translate? I mean, yes, I remember it's a big one, but maybe we would be able to translate it for the other guysMotormike wrote:Yes Pix supports worldwide shipping. A friend of mine lives in Los Angeles and he receives the books he orders without any problem.

Dunno, it's a big challenge there, mmm...

It seems I really must buy the French book, since the English one will take time. I really don't care, if necessary I check dictionaries to try to be able to read the full thing.

Ah, well that's okay. I can wait.
Oh boy, I've been playing since September 2013, so it took me 11 months!Motormike wrote:GG! How many months have you been playing to reach that level ?Bradandez wrote:I'm only two points away from the Eleventh Level of Awesomeness!
Re: Rayman Legends
Did you play every day, or less frequently?Bradandez wrote:Oh boy, I've been playing since September 2013, so it took me 11 months!Motormike wrote:GG! How many months have you been playing to reach that level ?Bradandez wrote:I'm only two points away from the Eleventh Level of Awesomeness!
Re: Rayman Legends
I didn't play everyday so yeah, it took that long. Haha.
Re: Rayman Legends
I had to play almost everyday for 2 or 3 months in order to get it if I remember well.

Re: Rayman Legends
Hi people!
I need some help for the RayWiki Online Challenges Lump Prizes.
We are only missing a couple of values, which are Bronze, Silver and Gold for the Weekly Extreme Challenge. I haven't been able to find them on the Internet for now, so I am filling them by going directly at the source.
I managed to make a good score at the Weekly Extreme challenge of this week (Neverending Pit: Go as far as you can!): today, I put almost 300 meters between the Gold threshold and my best, around 1130 meters. Although it may be enough for me to obtain Gold (and I'll probably try to improve it before the end of the week), I need your help. If you could win Bronze or Silver for this week and then send me the amount of lums you received, it would avoid me to have to wait two more weeks, and even more as I won't be able to play a lot durign the end of August and the beginning of September.
I had to restart the entire game due to changing laptops, and I'm currently almost at the eighth level of awesomeness. Although I think I can score pretty decently in almost any online challenge, I prefer the "go as far as you can", as they are more about taking your time and memorizing the path rather than smashing your keyboard.
EDIT: Did someone already notice this typo?

Re: Rayman Legends
Nope. Then again, I think you need an english version to find that.
Re: Rayman Legends
Reminds me I changed language settings for all my games from French to English very recently. Maybe because I find it better. At least peopel can understand if I happen to record gaming sessions.

Yup, I initially put it in Raymolk's quote purposely, but changed it once I was told it wasn't universal.

Re: Rayman Legends
Funnily enough I recently decided to only play Rayman games in French. Spooky.

Reminds me of something: I played the entirety of the Mass Effect series in French first, then I did it again in English and compared the voices given to the characters. Dubbing is now really great at many levels (in France at least), which made me realize that some dubbers had better voices than original ones (for the characters and their personality).PluMGMK wrote:Funnily enough I recently decided to only play Rayman games in French. I also noticed that for some of them, each dubbers was giving more "punch" to a specific attitude of the character but wasn't able to make it happen for all of them.
In France, some words are even changed because of the weird meaning they could have if they would have been directly translated (like species names). Which makes it even weirder if you play the game in its original version.
Speaking about RL, I will probably take a look at the French page on the Wiki: if you compare it to the English one, there is a real gap between both XD.
EDIT: i just finished the game. I'm only missing the usual (1M lums/11th level awesomeness). I need a bit less than 1800 points. Even if I play everyday (which won't be possible) it will still take a lot of time. But at least I got all the teensies. Also Splinter Ray is not that hard, but yeah the detector on the left room is bugged: the first time, even if I went through it unspotted, the game didn't validate the achievement.
